In my opinion, this was an excellent week. Then again, I'm officially an eXiles mark, so any week it comes out is excellent. :)

Alias #7: I never gave a crap about Rick Jones before, but this version that Bendis' created is very interesting. This is a very good issue, but some of the character moments could've been better in the exposition issue. (3.5/4)

eXiles #11: Judd continues with the touchy-feely stuff this issue. This is one of the best "filler" issues I've ever seen, and it shines the spotlight on two underdeveloped characters, Morph and Sunfire. Everyone has officially gotten "their" issue know. (4/4)

Uncanny X-Men #404: A lot of people seem to be uninterested in this storyline, but I'm really diggin' it. I can't believe I just typed the word "diggin'." Oh, well. The final page of this issue is very well done, but it was something we all could have seen coming. (3/4)

Ultimate Spider-Man #20: This issue would have been far better if this Kraven/Hammer/Doc Ock storyline wasn't dragging so much. Again, another great final page that goes a long way in establishing Spidey's character (for the newer readers). (3/4)

Powers #18: I love this book. For everybody who says Bendis can't write action, pick this up. Predictable, but powerful. What is it with characters dying lately? (3.5/4)

Spider-Girl #45: Thank god it isn't cancelled. This (and eXiles) are the best traditional super-hero comics IMHO. I can't give it a full four, though, due to the cop-out on the costume theft storyline. Plus, how many partners is Spider-Girl going to go through. It's like she's a partner slut or something. (3/4)

If anyone picks this up, likes it, and then looks for back issues, bear in mind that this takes place before eXiles 8-10, and that Issues 1-4 is supposeed to be TPB'ed.  Oh, yes, and there's a shocking surprise in this book...  nude sunbathing!!  Next issue should be interesting, as I suppose we meet up with the Weapon eXiles (AoA Sabretooth and versions of Deadpool, Spider-Man (Spidey-Carnage? Scarlet Spider?), She-Hulk and two others that I can't recall).

This is one of Marvel's best, and most fun, books.  9/10 - Buy it!

Lessee what else I picked up:

GI Joe #4.  Double-sized conclusion, yet it still seems like they tried to rush the ending, with everything wrapping up nicely like it was a Star Trek episode.  Blaylock is a decent writer, but he ain't no Larry Hama.  Art was passable, and it looks like J. Scott Campbell half-assed the cover.

6/10 - Buy only if you're completing the mini.  The series is now an ongoing (starting with #5), so I'm gonna pick up the next two before deciding if I want to continue it or not.

Ultimate Spider-Man 1-2-3 Collected.  It cost less than the first 3 issues combined, and it's a good read.  They don't show the covers for #2-3, though, so I can't give it full marks.

9/10 - If you didn't get it the first time, get it now!
