While reading the results on the Torch website, it said the cowd was popping big when Austin punched The Undertaker. Dear God I hope Vince doesn't take it as a sign the fans want another Taker/Austin feud.

That was a complete waste of 2 hours.

The NWO won't save ratings...if the show is this poorly written, AND the in ring product is bad (like the NWO is).

 

Plus...they'll hype it WAY to much...and then they will, predictably, show up and cost Austin his match at No Way Out...and then they'll lay out Jericho, too.

 

Jericho is the baby's father...wait until a couple weeks before WrestleMania.

Jericho and UnderTaker won via lead pipe shot.  The lead pipe is apparently the new WWF foriegn object of choice.  Say goodbye to the title belt, there's a new sheriff in town!

 

Oh, and the main event was bland as hell.  It was every WWF main eventer tag team match ever.  It hit every cliche, except breaking the Spanish Announce Table, and did none of them especially well.

i agree that the tag main is stale, but what would you do instead?

they cant do one on one matches every week, as these would result in silly screwjob endings, and essentially give away money matches for free.

in the past, they could have had the main eventers squash jobbers, but now the fans want to see austin v jericho, etc, and at the moment this is the best way to give it to them without blowing the ppv?
