Triple H out 2-3 Weeks

Recommended Posts

remember the episode of Batman Beyond (those of you who watched it) with Bane where he was all shrivled up because of using whatever he used so much for so long? That popped into my head like 3 times while going through this thread

guys, it's stupid to point to steroid use as the only cause of his body breaking down. as far as i can tell, it's a combination of that with:

the general faster pace & more demanding nature of the current wwf style

the insane amount of general bumps and abuse his body takes (much more than any main eventer since shawn michaels)

and probably, his body is just naturally less durable than, say, chris benoit. some bodies just break down more easily than others. austin's knees are another good example of this: he didn't need braces after years of doing death-defying aerial moves, his knees are just less durable than others'.

Triple H's boddy is so fucked up because he has been abusing it with steroids for years and years.

I think we'd see less injuries if everyone was as flexible as RVD. I don't remember him getting injured besides one broken bone.

THIS is what I was talking about.

RVD carries a stigma around of being injury prone despite having less major injuries in his career than HHH has in a month!

HHH is injured again...

nothing new here.

either rvd's neck is going to be fucked up beyond all recognition before he's 40, or he's not human. i don't know how he can land on his head so consistently and not die.

Well...

at least it doesn't affect his ability to cut promos.

Quad.

I don't know how he can take the DDTs he does. I understand yoga and training can make you more flexible, but when you land directly on the top of your head that is just simple physics he is defying. I think with him it is a mix of yoga, training, and lucky genetics or something.

I won't argue Eddy's abuse... I think I just overlooked much of it because I'm used to 2000 and 2001 Eddy instead of the one that's been on the horrible WWE TV this year (not that he sucked, but I haven't cared as much this year).

I will argue Benoit's abuse if only because Benoit's build looks like one that COULD be obtained through tremendous work and a "reasonable" amount of steroids. (Yes, this does take into consideration that he used to be a matchstick)

Triple H looks like freakin' SID right now because whenever he gets a knee injury, he adds about 30 pounds of upper-body weight. During this three-week vacation due to his partial quad tear (dammit, ONLY partial...), he'll probably gain ANOTHER 10 or 15 pounds of upper-body weight and get even worse in the ring.

I wasn't aware Triple H could get any worse

When HHH gets bakc into the ring after this injury, he will be the 6'4" equivelant of either Zeus or Giant Gonzales.

Big Slow is still worse than HHH... for now. HHH can't move very well and if he actually gains more weight in addition to having another career-threatening injury, he'll just stand in the ring while the other guy takes a running start and bounces off of him.

About RVD...the neck bumps he takes are truely insane, not like Chuck Palumbo or some other guys who just post themselves with their hands, RVD literally bounces off the mat from his neck. I'm sure most of us have seen the big piledriver Tommy Dreamer gave him in ECW...if not, go on Kazaa or WinMx and search for ECW or piledriver...just sick.

Ah, yes...I remember that, RVD bounced up into the air after it and I was like "WTF?!!" It was like he had springs in his neck. :P

Oh..goodie goodie goodie.

I live in Maryland, and that would just make my day to see HHH wrestle at the high school gym in Pocomoke or something..

I can't wait to see HHH challenge Rudy Boy Gonzales for control of the Texas Region. Or challenge Sabu for the PCU tv title :)

Oh, please. You act as if he'll be gone completely. Hell, I'd bet injured HHH still main events.

Hey, Andrew and I had the same thought within a minute of each other.

well the crushed larynx injury did not keep HHH away for long, so you expect him to miss some time on a minor quad bruise, your CRAZY.

I don't see the steroid claims about Beniot. It's not like he was super skinny in WCW or something. He was always short and bulky and he's had no neck since at least WCW. He isn't insanely larger than he use to be so if he's using he's not abusing it.

But to the point...yes i would laugh at anyone that's crippled from major steroid abuse. Billy Graham didn't know the dangers when he did it so he doesn't deserve to be laughed at. Everyone now has seen the effects it can have so deserve no sympathy.

HHH is nothing but damaged goods, he can't even fart without breaking a quad or a hip, his body is deteriorating little by little, hopefully he decides that it's time to hang up those boots but i doubt it.

i believe they're talking about benoit when he was in japan. watch the 94 super j cup: he's a twig. he hardly even looks like the same person, and it's obvious that his body isn't naturally built to contain that much muscle mass. he's definitely juicing.
