Guest DVD Spree Report post Posted December 19, 2002 Hey guys. I've just posted a REALLY FUCKING DETAILED REVIEW of Legends of Wrestling 2 on the site. It was seven pages in Word on a 10 font, plus it's got about 25 screens, so I seriously doubt you'll find a more extensive review anywhere. Check it out: http://thesmartmarks.com/artman/publish/ar...ticle_578.shtml CHeers.

Guest DVD Spree Report post Posted December 19, 2002 THE DOCTOR IS IN~! Thanks for the props, Doc. I'd love to return the compliment on your Two Towers review, but as I've said before, I HATE HOBBITS. I know it would pretty much cut the heart of the film and reduce the running time by about half (actually, that would probably be a GOOD thing), but if they took out all the Hobbit scenes and just left in the badass Gauntlet-stylee fighting, I'd enjoy it a lot more. Better fire up the burner and get working on the Jay Spree Bootleg...
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted December 19, 2002 Great review. I got LOW1, and I liked it, so I'm gonna pick up LOW2 soon.
Guest Retro Rob Report post Posted December 23, 2002 I read the review this morning and rented the game tonight. So far it has been a so-so experience. The CAL mode is a complete bitch when it comes to load time and selection. I won't be creating any legends during this week. Thus far the Career mode (with Dynamite) has been fun besides the cheapness of the 3 and 4 way matches and the time wasting jobber matches. The eight man tag didn't really live up to my expectations, but I'm going to try it again. I doubt that I'll ever buy the game, but it should provide enough entertainment for this week. Guest DVD Spree Report post Posted December 23, 2002 This is usually the gayest thing you can say, but in this case, it's DEFINITELY a game where you have to give it a good few hours' play if you're new to it. I wasn't exactly diehard into the first one, and aside from the review time I had to give it, I didn't play it that much. But after literally a few hours solid play (sad but true) I realised there was really a lo more to it than just random combinations of moves. Taking Dr Death through career, it became apparent tah some matches you could win by outbrawling little guys like Dynamite, but against other heavy hitters, you'd really have to work hard and grapple. Which was a neat subtlely, to me. The CAW is a bitch, but creating a character is probably the best way to figure your way around the control system. Fucked if I knew each character had three Irish whip moves, or that some moves have to be done while the other guy is stunned and doubled over. Agreed, it's not for everyone (thank you, Scots) but if you're not a Smack!Down or Mania X8 fan, it's probably the best you're gonna get. Shit, I'm STILL reviewing this fucking game. I need more sex. Definitely give the 8-Man Elimination match more of a chance. Not only do you get 8 coins if you win, but how can you not mark out when you whip your opponent into your own corner and you have 3 guys put the hurtin' on your opponent! Plus, it feels like the good ol days of The Survivor Series!
Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted December 29, 2002 Great job on that review. After playing LoW 1 (right afte rplaying SD4) I was hesitant on getting LoW 2, but because of your review, I decided to give it a shot, and ended up buying it a few days after renting it.
