RAW week 1 after wrestlemania

RAW 1

Segment 1.

Flair comes down to ringside, still selling his beating from last night and says that he thinks that last nights Wrestlemania was soiled by Stephanie’s interference in the main event.  He makes a title re – match for that night with the stipulation that any interference by anyone will result in their being banned from WWF arenas, indefinitely.

Jericho comes out and starts whining about a conspiracy but Flair cuts him off with a WWHHHOOOOO! And struts up the ramp and past a disgusted Y2J

 

- Edge & RVD vs. Booker T & Test

The new IC Champion teams up with Edge to take on Booker & Test.  Booker & Test overpower the faces but a Booker spinerooni is met by a spear from Edge to set up the Five Star, for the win.  Afterwards, Booker & Test destroy Edge with a vengeance.

 

Segment 2.

The nWo are chilling in their executive suite when Stone Cold burst in a challenges Hall & Nash to a tag match tonight.  The Outsiders accept, but say who’s gonna be stupid enough to tag with Austin against the nWo.

 

- Kurt Angle vs. Tajiri    

Angle decimates Tajiri, going Olympic quickly and racking on the Ankle Lock.  Torrie Wilson runs in and Angle just locks it up on her.  Kane runs down and distracts Angle who leaves Tajiri enough time to hit him with a spinning kick to the head for the huge upset pin.

After the match, Kane gets in and chokeslams Angle.

 

Segment 3.

DDP is tutoring Christian still, sporting a black eye from his title shot the previous night.  Christian seems to be taking in his positivity and says he will do better in his match with Hurricane later.

 

- Tag Team Titles

APA © vs. Hardy Boyz

The Hardys manage to go toe to toe with the APA responding to their brawling with sound technical wrestling and good tag work, isolating Farooq in their corner.  However the APA fight back and Jeff Hardy grabs one of the title belts and clocks Bradshaw to win the titles.

 

Segment 4.

Triple H arrives and is attacked by Jericho outside his dressing room.

The Undertaker arrives and asks where Ric Flair is.

 

- Christian vs. The Hurricane

Christian and the Hurricane wrestle up a storm but as his third attempt to rack on the Unprettier fails, Christian loses his rag and racks on his arm – lock and refuses to let go when the referee tells him to, drawing another DQ.

 

Segment 4.

The Undetaker meets Flair and asks if he had beaten some respect into him.  Flair replies that he had always respected the Undertaker’s toughness and ability but that he couldn’t respect him as a person.  The Undertaker looked and then tossed Flair into the wall.  Leaving, he said he could live with that.  

 

- Stone Cold & Mystery Partner vs. Kevin Nash & Scott Hall

The nWo came out first and looked cocky as Austin came down and they waited at ringside as Austin posed then Austin stood in the middle of the ring and asked the now what they had asked him earlier.  Hall goes to reply and is met by a huge WHAT?  Then the Rock’s music hits and the People’s champion runs down and him & Austin meet the Outsiders toe to toe in the middle of the ring.

The match goes back and forth with Rock & Austin carrying the match until Austin hits Nash with the Stunner.  Hollywood Hogan trots down with the now baseball bat and crashes it over Austin’s back, drawing the DQ.  He pushes Austin out of the ring and Nash & Hall bring Rock into the ring and hold him while Hogan smashes him in the ribs with the bat then drops the leg on the prone People’s Champion.  Hall counts a ‘123’.  And the now leave with Austin down on the floor and Rock doing the stretcher job in the ring.

 

Segment 5.  

The Hardy Boys are celebrating backstage when they see the Dudley boys car in the parking lot.  They do the Dudleys car over and leave a note, courtesy of the tag champions.

 

- WWF Title

No Interference Stipulations

Chris Jericho © vs. Triple H

GREAT Toe to toe wrestling match.  Clean finish as HHH goes for a Pedigree but Y2J pushes off the turnbuckle with his feet and rolls through to bridge HHH for the pin.

After the match Y2J bails with his titles and HHH rages in the ring as we go off the air.
