Guest Downhome Report post Posted December 21, 2002 If Chyna returned. It'd be crap because if she came back, I'd probably get so excited that I'd have a massive heart attack and die. I would have the EXACT same reaction, but not because of being excited with joy, it would be out of pissdome and my sudden urge to vomit.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2002 Here's one I would mark for but then realize it was crap (because it happened too late)... A Bob Backlund/Hulk Hogan match. Hogan and Backlund faced each other on a few occassions in the early 80's I believe Huh...didn't know that. Course, that was probably when Hogan was heel and managed by Blassie still. I was talking about when Hogan was face and Backlund...well, either way for Backlund. I'm more familiar with Crazy Old Man Backlund.

I remember reading about it and seeing a few pictures in the old Apter magazines
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2002 Another thing...slightly older...that would have made me mark out but then I'd realize it was crap... Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted December 21, 2002 I'd imagine if Chyna returned, HHH would wear a cup for sure. And when Hogan was managed by Blassie, didn't he still have the Albert-like chest hair? Man, that gross-looking. Another thing to add to the list: D-X returning for more than a minute. Did you see her on the Anna Nicole Smith show? Anna Nicole bought her an S&M kit. Now THERE's something I didn't need to know.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2002 And when Hogan was managed by Blassie, didn't he still have the Albert-like chest hair? Man, that gross-looking. No, he didn't. I remember watching his first WWF match on the Hogan DVD, and he was as bare chested as the rest of his WWF career. I'm guessing the hair was when he was either Sterling Golden or Terry Boulder. Guest Downhome Report post Posted December 21, 2002 Go to http://www.backlund2000.com/splash/index.html, go to photo gallery, magazines, and then look at the last ones listed, it has some pictures of Hogan/Backlund.

Guest Downhome Report post Posted December 21, 2002 Now, just one more for the hell of it... ..."In late 1983, McMahon talked with Hulk Hogan to come into his WWF and create a new era. McMahon wanted Backlund to turn heel, but the man refused to go along with jobbing to Hogan, and instead an alternate plan was arranged. Bob Backlund lost a 30 minute match to the Iron Sheik via submission. There was speculation that Backlund knew nothing of this title change to the Iron Sheik, due to the finish of Backlund's manager "throwing in the towel", but Backlund worked for the WWF for another six months. That would indicate that Backlund had agreed to the finish, didn't care about the finish, or was obliged to finish off his contract. Either way, nobody saw this coming. As most people know, Hogan had been in the WWF before, but was fired by Vince McMahon Sr. for taking on the role of Thunderlips in Rocky III. Hogan then went to the AWA where the first strands of Hulkamania were set in place. However, Verne Ganga didn't want any part of modern day wrestling, and Vince McMahon Jr. jumped at the chance of taking Hulk Hogan back to the WWF." That is from HulkHogan.co.uk but I thought I'd paste it for anyone not in the know. So yeah, these two did fight before all of that went down, and I wish I could find some tapes of their matches. Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted December 21, 2002 Eh? Never knew that the Thunderlips role didn't go over well with Vince Sr. Hell...that's pretty surprising to me.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2002 Eh? Never knew that the Thunderlips role didn't go over well with Vince Sr. Hell...that's pretty surprising to me. Yeah...apparently Vince Sr. was more old-school minded than Vince Jr. Which makes me wonder what would have happened if Vince Jr was like his father.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted December 21, 2002 Sigh. All this stuff (Hogan's redebut with Backlund, the Rocky stuff, etc) is on the Hulk Still Rules DVD. That thing deserves more credit than it gets.

That thing deserves more credit than it gets. Hey, it's a good DVD. I'm surprised HHH hasn't asked for one exactly like it. Or Undertaker. Because HHH never wants Terra Ryzin, Jean Paul Levesque, or Hunter Hearst Helmslely (to a lesser degree) to ever be seen or heard from again. It'd start at the DX days likely. As for Undertaker--Mean Mark wasn't so bad. Although a lot of his major early WWF angles were really bad.

Guest MillenniumMan831 Report post Posted December 21, 2002 Another thing...slightly older...that would have made me mark out but then I'd realize it was crap... Barry Horowitz winning either the Intercontinental or WWF Championship belts. Shortly after he got his first win over Skip. It ALMOST happened in early 1995 on a episode of Monday Night Raw. Horowitz had an I-C Title shot against Jeff Jarrett. Horrowitz ended up losing to JJ though. Then, they started hyping a rematch for The Sunday Night Slam before WrestleMania XI. However, Bob Backlund showed up, gave the chickenwing to Horowitz and signed the contract himself making a heel/heel Title match for the event. Of course as I type this, I see that you typed AFTER he beat Skip, but ah well. I still think Barry should have been given a slightly higher push then he did. Guest New World Order of Wrestling Report post Posted December 21, 2002 To answer your question? If my hero, Bret Hart, returned to the WWE. You'd later realize that sucks? Or would you enjoy it forever? I'd love for the Hitman to come back. I wish the nWo angle could be re-done, Nash's first injury not occured thus him staying on the road with Hall being there so he wouldn't have a drink. The nWo angle could have worked, only for the fact that xPac and Big Show were the 2 wrestlers in it for the last 2 months of existance.

I'd love for the Hitman to come back. I'd love, LOVE, LOVE for him to come back. But they'll make a joke out of him either way. I see Bret getting fucked over again if he comes back, somehow...just for Vince's pleasure.
