Guest Kotzenjunge Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 New Orleans' new team song: "All the Small Teams." Sorry Flyboy, you can beat all the Packers and Buccaneers that you want, but if you can't take on the jobbers, can you expect to go very far?
Guest cartman Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 COUGHtoldyasoCOUGH Oh and Kotz, Nice shutout of the so-called Pro Bowler and his merry men.
Guest Flyboy Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 Not to the playoffs, that's for sure. *goes to the corner and cries*
Guest Flyboy Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 COUGHtoldyasoCOUGH Oh and Kotz, Nice shutout of the so-called Pro Bowler and his merry men. *bitchslaps cartman*
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 But WHAT ABOUT THE SD/KC GAME????
Guest Flyboy Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 I think SD came back and won. CORRECTION: 22-24, KC.
Guest Kinetic Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 Yes! That gives Tampa Bay the NFC South. A Giants win next Saturday now serves a dual purpose: Giving the Bucs homefield advantage throughout the playoffs (if they win out) and possibly eliminating New Orleans from playoff contention. Thank you, Bengals! Whooo!
Guest bob_barron Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 Reads score- Bengals RB who scored- Aaron Brooks play- Indy for losing- If Philly wins next week- What we plan on doing to Carolina-
Guest bob_barron Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 Why does Carolina have to suck?? I mean- the Saints can't beat shitty teams. I'd never thought I'd root for Philly but- GO EAGLES!
Guest Flyboy Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 Oakland scores already! Gannon.
Guest Kinetic Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 Also, having watched both Philadelphia and Green Bay play in consecutive days, I can easily state with no bias that Tampa's playing much more consistent football right now. Both Philadelphia and Green Bay seem to be more mistake-prone and that ain't gonna fly against the Bucs dominant defense and efficient offense. How many times could Buffalo have pulled ahead in today's game? The only reason they didn't is because of mistakes and turnovers, two things that aren't prevalent in Tampa's offense. I'm totally confident that they could beat the Packers in Lambeau because they're the superior team. Philadelphia might be a different story.
Guest Flyboy Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 Why does Carolina have to suck?? I mean- the Saints can't beat shitty teams. I know what you mean. *sighs* If the Saints were playing the Bucs, I KNOW we could win.
Guest Flyboy Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 Eh, at least I have a good "backup" team in the Bucs. *waits for his Bucs jacket to get here for Christmas*
Guest bob_barron Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 My backup team is the Packers. But- GO BROWNS! GO EAGLES! GO SAINTS!
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 I'd never thought I'd root for Philly but- GO EAGLES! You idiot, Philadelphia winning = No Home Field for the Pack. And Kinetic, there have been other times that the Buccaneers had what I considered a better team going into Lambeau, and they always come out with one in the big L column. Our performance today was mediocre at best, but considering that we weren't playing as well as we would have if we were in a desperation situation like Buffalo was, I was glad to come away with a win. We'll pick it back up by playoff time, since we have this terrible tendency a la the Florida Gators this year: playing down to our opponent's level. The solution: play better teams in the playoffs.
Guest bob_barron Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 I'd rather have both my teams in the playoffs then only one. I hate to root against the Giants and Packers but I want the Saints to make it. GO EAGLES!
Guest bob_barron Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 I've been a Saints fan longer then a Packers fan so I'm sorry Kotz- I gotta pull for the Eagles next week
Guest Flyboy Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 I see it being Packers/Raiders or Eagles/Raiders in the Super Bowl.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 I've been a Saints fan longer then a Packers fan so I'm sorry Kotz- I gotta pull for the Eagles next week Who are you, and why are you talking to me?
Guest bob_barron Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 My name is Bob Barron AND I AM A SAINTS AND PACKERS FAN!
Guest Insane Bump Machine Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 Oakland are smoking the Broncos right now. Another interception.
Guest Kinetic Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 I see it being Packers/Raiders or Eagles/Raiders in the Super Bowl. That must be a typo. You obviously meant Buccaneers v. Some other team. Fortunately, Tampa's on national TV tomorrow night, so everyone will get the opportunity to see the best team in the league going into the playoffs. In fact, every Tampa Bay game for the rest of the season will be nationally televised...it's not too late to jump on the bandwagon.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted December 22, 2002 Report Posted December 22, 2002 No, he's right. Philadelphia or Green Bay = Cold. Tampa Bay + Cold = Loss.
