VH1 Classics

I dunno about this channel, the positives are even with the negatives.

Positives: Lots of good obscure shit that'll you'll never see on MTV, MTV 2 or even VH1.

Two Rock video shows. Rock Fest(More mainstream Rock stuff, Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, Eric Claption) and Metal Mania(More hard rock and metal stuff with some *shudders* hair band stuff mixed in)

The I Love the 80's Show is good for good old fashioned chessy ass videos. Where else are you going to see a Journey video?

Negatives: The Request Show is an interesting concept, but I've seen a lot of people request a bunch of obscure crap that I thought they locked away in 1991. I've seen so many obscure Men At Work videos it's scary.

Lots of crappy videos, goes to show you that music back in the day wasn't that much worse then it is now.

I haven't seen one good concert on that channel. I've seen a two hour Kansas concert, Kansas had three hits and your showing a two hour concert of theres. A Dave Gilmour concert where he performs a lot of solo material. It's VH1 classics Dave not songs from the crappy solo album you released three years ago. They're advertising a Led Zepplin concert from the 70's so that better be good.

That channel's 80s program may be one of the best music video programs, ever. What's great about it is it isn't the usual 80s hits suspects, but you'll see things like Fishbone, the Smiths, Pixies, etc.

I turn it on for the 80's videos.

Did anyone else notice when TNN changed format to "We Got Pop!" 2 or 3 years ago that they played a NIGHT RANGER concert. I'm flipping through channels and I'm like WHAT THE FUCK!? I turned on right before they finished with Sister Christian, so it was all good.

Night Ranger had one hit, I bet they closed and opened the show with Sister Christian. I heard when they were still around Europe used to close and open shows with The Final Countdown, I mean it fits as an opening song and a closing song but that's just sad that you have to perform your most famous song twice to keep the crowd happy. Hell when I saw Eifel 65 two years ago at a radio station concert(Headlined by Vertical Horizon*shudders*) they had a five song set and Blue was two of those five songs.
