Guest Downhome Report post Posted December 23, 2002 First off we have Benoit destroying Edge, woohoo... ...then, we have a picture from one of the greatest matches in the history of Pro. Wrestling... ...and then finally, one of my favorite Pro. Wrestling pictures ever... ...damn, this guy is great.

Guest Downhome Report post Posted December 23, 2002 Davey Boy Smith Yep, I'm a HUGE DBS and Dynamite fans, I'm talking huge. Dynamite after all was the mold for Benoit, heheheh. What version of Bulldog do you wish to see?
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 23, 2002 Any version- I don't care. DBS is my all time all time favourite wrestler. You gotta love as guy whose last televised WWF match was against Eddy Guerrero

You gotta love as guy whose last televised WWF match was against Eddy Guerrero Oh my God, you love him MORE than Regal? How awesome was that Bulldog/Owen match in the finals for the Euro title? Do you look at that match as highly as myself?
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 23, 2002 I gave it about ****1/2-****3/4. Yes there is a wrestler I love more than Regal. The one match I saw between the two I gave ***1/
Guest Downhome Report post Posted December 23, 2002 Cool, it's great to see another true Davey Boy Smith fan, such as myself. Have you ever seen any of his early work? Anyhow, here are some pretty cool pictures of him, first a picture after The British Bulldog's big tag team championship victory, with Captin and Ozzy... ...then, a picture of what is in my opinion the greatest collection of Pro. Wrestlers, that the sport has ever known... ...then a pretty cool one with Andre the Giant, not too long before he passed away... ...Bulldog and Ricky Steamboat squaring off... ...and finally, the man himself... ...damn, I have WAY too much free time on my hands, lol. Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 23, 2002 I think the DBS-Andre pic is from World Tour 92 when he faced Earthquake. The earliest DBS match I've seen was Wrestling Classic v. Steamboat
Guest Downhome Report post Posted December 23, 2002 By the way, I STILL believe that The Brisith Bulldog should have won the Royal Rumble in '95, and I still believe that he DID win it. I rarely get truly pissed at Pro. Wrestling, but the moment when HBK tossed Bulldog over the top rope, after he was already celebrating, well, let's just say I was VERY fucking pissed off. Both entered at #1 and #2, and they were the final two at the end. One hell of a story, and one hell of a Royal Rumble, even though the end ticked me off. Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 23, 2002 Downhome- RR95 put me in therapy. I don't care what anyone says- HBK's feet hit the floor. And even if they didn't, which they did- the fact that they played his fucking music allowing him to celebrate was bullfucking shit and nearly turned me off of WWF in general. In August I almost met HBK and I was gonna say: Just between you and me- your feet hit the floor right?

In August I almost met HBK and I was gonna say: Just between you and me- your feet hit the floor right? Oh shit, don't get me started on this also, seriously, don't. I think the only other time I've been TRULY PISSED at something in Pro. Wrestling, was when Henning turned on Flair and The 4 Horsemen in the cage match. I also believe HBK's feet hit the floor, and even if they didn't, they sure as fuck shouldn't have played Bulldog's music, I couldn't believe what I saw when they allowed HBK to to just toss him out as he was celebrating. Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 23, 2002 The only other time I got really pissed was when Book jobbed to 3MW in his hometown. To me that was just a slap in the face to Booker T, Goldust and to all the hard work Booker T put into his career and to all the fans who supported him. I just remember marking out like crazy and then looking at the TV with hate in my eyes- I was too angry to cry- I just couldn't believe what happened to DBS. I've never seen One Night Only, and I refuse to, but I think that match would probably piss me off a lot. And people wondered why I rooted for HHH at the end of the elimination chamber
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted December 25, 2002 The finish to the main event of One Night Only is the most depressing ending to a PPV ever. Worse than Survivor Series 97 (which was shock more than anything)....go find a copy of the WWF version of the One Night Only PPV and don't tell me you want to legitally cry when they fade away with the Bulldog saying "I never gave up..." Die, Shawn. Die.
