MVP: Nagata,

 

No problem with me, very good year for Nagata, considering what happened to him on 12/31/01

 

MOTY: Nagata vs. Chono (10/26/02)

 

I own this match, but wasn't fond of it. I also can't get into a sixty minute draw if I know its a draw, if someone else can give a more objective view then go ahead.

 

Tag MOTY: TenChono vs. Gotch-ism (6/5/02)

 

I've never seen this, exept for the heavily clipped version, crowd seemed hot, that's pretty much all I can say about it.

 

Technique Award: Osamu Nishimura.

 

I really didn't like him a whole lot, but after I saw him and Chono of all people do twenty minutes almost entirely on the ground and still keep my interest I started to gain some respect for him.

 

Fighting Spirit Award: Manabu Nakanishi

 

I've seen almost nothing from him in 2002, I'll leave this alone

 

Outstanding performce: Koji Kanemoto

 

No complaints here, he came back from a serious shoulder injury and went right to the top of the Jr division, had some good matches with Tiger Mask, Curry Man (including a sick bump by Daniels) and of all people BAS RUTTEN.

 

New Wave: Hiroshi Tanahashi

 

Of all of NJ's Young Lions, he's going to be the big star. He's got the look and is wrestling circles around some of his collegues like Blue Wolf.
