Dammit.  My local UPN affiliate is delaying Smackdown for some stupid Basketball.  I hate sports.

Yep, mine too.  >_<

Tajiri wrestling on Smackdown?

And he's over?

Guess we son't see him anymore.

What fan would talk to Michael Cole?  Props to King for getting in that BI-Lingual joke.

Nice to see Tajiri on Smackdown.  Too bad he jobbed though.  I guess I am used to it now.

Man, Booker was getting pops for his Spineroonie till Edge stole his heat.

It's been a while since Tajiri has been on Smackdown. I think it's been a while.

Hmm we didn't even get the 'finally the Rock has come back to...'

Not that I'm complaining or anything.

Okay, let me see if I get the WWF logic here.

Making fun of a Japanese person's hair = bad.

Calling a black man "Buckwheat on crack" = good & funny.

Anyone in here remember a few months back when Dan Rather got in some major hot water for using the term "buckwheat"?  And hell, he didn't even use it in half as inflammatory way as it was used against Booker T.

Oh well, at least the Edge / Booker feud could be promising.

Tajiri was last on Smackdown right before No Way Out.

I'm not particularly fond of the Rock anymore.

He's like a cartoon.

He's not even selling ANY injury.

The Rock could of wore a neck brace or something. Oh, well.

Posted

Rock has a big ego if he thinks he is the BEST ever...neither he or Hogan can say that.  They may be the biggest crossover stars, but not the BEST wrestlers.  Flair and Steamboat are perhaps the two BEST ever.

I think Tajiri made a cameo with Edge as the Japanese guy told Edge that he would be in the shampoo commercial.  Of course, I cannot remember the last time Tajiri actually wrestled on Smackdown before tonight.  I also noticed they announced the match as "non-title."  Nice to see the WWF remembers the Cruiserweight belt exists.

What's up with the black ropes? Did the ring crew forget to change them from the Heat tappings?

Guest Tony149

They didn't have time to change the ropes since Smackdown is live.

Oh yeah, Tajiri has been on some of those shampoo skits. He was on that one were Booker did the fake commercial and used Tajiri as "director". Unless that was on a Raw, I can't even remember what happened like a week ago.

Posted

This is retarded.  After 3 weeks away on the injury angle, and after a whole week of them selling Rock's injury like he was near death, the least they could have done was have him wear a fucking band-aid.

Rock vs. Hall tonight.  It'll probably go only 4-5 minutes before the run-in, but this'll be a better preview of how he is in the ring, rather than the squash vs. Spike Dudley

Posted

King is such an ass.  He thought Hall said "Just Bring It".  HALL SAID HIS LINE, "Don't sing it...bring it."  HE HAS HAD THAT LINE SINCE 96, BEFORE THE ROCK WAS BIG!  YOU SUCK KING AND COLE!  YOU SUCK!

I think Rock no selling the angle is one of the worst moves ever.

It's far worse than Austin wearing the bandage on the wrong leg.

How sad was it to see Lawler and Cole make Rock out to be near dead...and then he walks down to the ring and bounces around like nothing happened?

Nobody sells death well. Remember when HHH was dropped to his death by Austin? He was up and around the next week.

What kind of drugs are these guys on?

Since the match will likely be a 2 minute clusterfuck.....shouldn't they throw Nash in there...so that people won't question his inability to perform...or his large contract?

Guest Tony149

I got a kick out of them making a bg deal over Hall's "Don't sing it, bring it!" line. Since like somebody said. Hall was using that long before The Rock did "Just bring it!"

At least they sold it better than when Hogan throw The Giant off the roof of the arena and he wrestled latter that night.

The Cleveland UPN was just promoting the SD taping next week, and if you log onto hometeam43.com you can win the chair they hit the wrestlers with!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if the WWF is teasing Maven & Snow not getting along. Since they had  a little back and forth talk when Snow told have to get out of the ring. Taker then clotheslined them.

Oh goody, a Maven match!  I really do not think I can get through one Smackdown episode without seeing a Maven match. At least, it gives Al Snow something to do, I guess...
