I agree. If you aren't going to use him, release him. HBK is quickly turing into Randy Savage's brother. Has a big contract, but isn't used.

Hall & The Rock was the main event. Match ended in a no contest after the nWo attacked The Rock. SCSA then ran out and him & The Rock took care of the nWo. Vince McMahon came out and said on Raw a handicap match will take place with the nWo vs. SCSA & The Rock.

Hmm.  I don't think so.  What they are waiting for I don't know.  Booker T vs. Edge, Lita vs. Jazz, and Kane vs. Angle were all strongly teased but the time has come to ANNOUNCE SOME MATCHES already!  I think there are still just 5 matches announced.

 

As for Shawn Michaels, don't close the book on him yet, he could come back at Wrestlemania.

I have to ask does the wwf watch their own show? I thought it was an okay smackdown, but some stuff REALLY look kind of dumb. The thing about it I'm not even looking for these things. I was watching with some family members and I usually stay quiet to hear their remarks since they aren't die hard fans. Anyways, the wwf went into a direction where they want people to watch this like an action adventure, yet keep the sports element as well. The wwf is missing on both accounts. I know some say smarks bitch, but this stuff is so blatant non-fans must see the inconsistency. Some may say I'm taking this too serious, but if I take it like a tv show watching it since the new year this is what I would be asking myself.

 

First Ric Flair. Great promo. He still is half owner right? Why, should the match's life depend on Undertaker's approval to wrestle him or not? I understand what the wwf was doing to make Taker look like an asshole, but this is dealing with the owner who makes matches. Duh! Flair has commanded the match, so how does Taker have control who he fights. I mean wasn't it last week on SmackDown Jericho/Angle were supposedly forced to tag team because of orders(I know it wasn't story told, but it has to be implied for suspension of disbelief or belief).

 

Booker-Tajiri was a nice match. Edge actually looked bigger. Anyways, the wwf acknowledges the overseas tour. Interesting I thought Flair and the other guys were gone because what the wwf wrote into the storylines on monday. I mean how hard was it to actually put this tour highlights on monday and say why Flair and Jericho were really gone. You pretty much have a worldwide audience which I forgot. I thought Vince said the days were over with insulting the intelligence of fans. You see the wwf are spinsters(as if no one knew*lol*). Flair getting arrested was stupid. The segment looked to set up I'm sorry. Lita's segment smelled set up as with the Garcia spot. At least Trish/Lita/Jazz could be interesting.

 

I'm really getting bothered with Jericho's treatment. When everyone else was complaining about conspiracies and all that crap I said Jericho just wasn't a guy on the level of the big three. However, if you give him the damn title make him seem like some sort of titlist especially leading into WM. This stupid 50/50 junk with Stephanie and Triple H is getting dumb. Although I did find the half car funny, but how in the hell is this suppose to make me care about Jericho/Triple H? The only reason I care for the match is that I know the two are solid workers. An average fan who just watches casually aint going to know that wwf.

 

My aunt said isn't she a Mcmahon why would she want 50% from this guy. Hey, I agree Triple H should be the one trying to get dollars off the wwf empire. Oh, but the wwf stated last week Stephanie squandered all her money on ECW. Okay, whatever. So, Vince who has forgiven her is going to let his daughter live in poverty. I "get it". As for Jericho he really is just looking like a clown ass. Poor guy he is champion going into Mania. Too bad it's a sin to actually play that up.

 

The Rock. His interview segment was all nice and electric, but can someone tell me why in the hell would Rock come to the ring and challenge Hogan knowing full well Hall and Nash would interfere. Doing this without any backup whatsoever. I remember back in 2000 when Austin was announced as being in Rock's corner that Russo made the same statement that the wwf is making Rock look like an idiot. Why would he trust Austin?

 

Well, I think this applies here. He almost DIES at the hand of the nWo and he comes back to challenge Hogan again with Hall and Nash in the building? Another thing Rock comes back to only "wrestle" them tonight. I almost died and I don't use any weapons to take the people out who tried to kill me? Paging wwf logic here. Rock has a little tape on the side of his hip. I immediately thought back to 1986 with Hogan and Bundy when Hogan had taped ribs just from an avalanche. What made things worse was Austin saving the day for Rock making Rock look incompetent. Yes, he's hurt, but I really think Austin is using politics here. He is made to look like superman. He gets wiped out like that on Monday and returns all well on SmackDown?

 

That's what I took from this show. Why the wwf just can't announce the damn matches already I don't know. Oh, I told you guys about HBK not returning. He is toast. I was hoping as hell that he would show during the Hall/Rock match, but I knew better. The damn net "prognisticators" put the thought in my mind.

 

So now on monday the wwf is giving us the match that should be the Mania match. I got to say Vince really put a spark as a mouthpiece for the nWo. I guess the wwf wrestlers won't step to Vince for bringing in the nWo.

if they show clips of the show, then they have to acknowledge the results.  and im pretty sure they dont want it known that jericho got about 3 or 4 victories over rock, and that rock's injuries arent really serious etc.  it destroys all their continuality (well, what little there is) if they let these results out.

I agree about The Rock & overseas stuff. The tour was still going on Monday so it understandable they wouldn't have footage, but DAMN, they could of just said they were overseas. I remember Russo's statement. He got heat for it, but he was right.

I understand about the Rock/Jericho situation and I excused the lying on monday for storyline purposes. However, now they came straight out and acknowledged the tour. What's the difference. Why? Stick to the storylines. It was basically an exaggerated house show. Again, remember the post about Rock and Austin. Tonight is proof they book Rock inferior to Triple H and Austin.

That seems to be due to The Rock's lack of bitching. I don't remember hearing/reading about The Rock being pissed about something ie. jobbing, the way he's being booked, etc. In other words, The Rock is a team player.

I suppose the show added 3 matches to the Wrestlemania card.

 

Edge vs Booker: This could be pretty good, i think they had a match on Heat last year which was pretty good by normal TV match standards. Hopefully a slightly longer ppv match should be quite good. I predict Edge to go over in Toronto.

 

Angle vs Kane: I cant really get that exited about this match. Not much chance of it being more than painfully average. I wouldn't count out Angle's carrying ability though. Angle will probably get a cheap win.

 

Jazz vs Lita vs Trish: A triple threat match is pretty obvious after what happened on Raw & Smackdown, there's no way these three can do that very well. If was going to be Jazz vs Lita then Trish would have just lost clean on Raw. It should have been Jazz vs Trish, adding Lita is just going to give us a sloppier match. Hard to see the point if Trish doesn't go over in Toronto like Edge.
