Guest HBK16 Report post Posted December 24, 2002 Well Im quiting my job and moving out. Yup. Moving out. Its only like 2 hours away from where I live now but its my own apartment. Far away from my parents. And guess what, I will now live 15 minutes away from my girlfriend!!! Thats one of the best parts. There is a negative. And that is much less time for the forum. Yeah I know you all will miss me. jk. Well I will move in around New Years so I still have about a week. So any of you guys got any advice for a first timer living on his own? Guest HBK16 Report post Posted December 25, 2002 I turned 18 in November. My sister actually owns the apartment. She doesnt live there though so its mine and I already have a roommate. As for the money goes, I already found a decent paying job that. I have been looking for a couple months and got lucky.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted December 25, 2002 paying for the utilities can be costly! I always look for a place that pays for the electric, that way I could leave the computer on forever and not worry about it.
Guest So what? I liked bubble boy Report post Posted December 27, 2002 Sandman said it best, watch your money. Remember only get what you need and not what you want that will make life easier. In my situation, I live with my girl and I can't always do that.
