Guest The Superstar Report post Posted December 25, 2002 Project Gotham Racing. Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon. BTW, which game would you guys reccommend: Splinter Cell or Ghost Recon? I'm eventually going to get both, but which should I get first?
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted December 25, 2002 I don't have a X-Box, but I heard that Splinter Cell rocks the house.
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted December 25, 2002 Yeah, i think the major difference is: Splinter Cell: Single player stealth stuff Ghost Recon: Team-based stealth stuff. I dunno.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted December 25, 2002 I hate stealth games.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted December 26, 2002 I enjoy both SC and GR, it depends on what you like as they aren't the same game at all. SC is more for micro-strategy while GR is for marco-strategy. SC is more visually stunning but GR is more visceral (it actually FEELS like you are in a war - the sound is THAT good). GR can also be played on-line, so if you have xbox live then you should prob. get this one (i dont have XbL so I can't totally recommend it) but if you plan on getting XbL in the future, then I suppose get SC right now. Oddworld is a fun game with some great animation and easy gameplay. www.extendedplay.com is a good site for reviews and recommendations.
Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Get as many sports games as well, since they are the best when they do come out on the X-Box. Outlaw Golf is also a game to check out as well

Guest The Superstar Report post Posted December 27, 2002 I was gonna laugh, point at you and say "oh you poor thing.." but it looks like you actually wanted an X Box. Halo, Splinter Cell..thats about it.. I can't stand people that ridicule others that own a certain system. If you don't like a system, keep your mouth shut. I currently have 15 Xbox games and love them all. And I don't even own Splinter Cell yet.

Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted December 28, 2002 Pick up Hitman 2, Tony Hawk 4, and Dead to Rights. I enjoy them all. I'd recommend JSRF but since you just bought the system you probably got it with the purchase.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted February 10, 2003 I just got an XBox too. My mom had like 150 dollars in Toys R Us gift cards that she never got around to giving to her work friends kids for Christmas that she just gave me. I was going to buy some more PS2 or GC games...but I couldn't find any I wanted so I bought an XBox because I really want to play Fable when it comes out...next year. Anyway...the first game I bought was Buffy the Vampire Slayer because I'm a mark and it was only 25 bucks.
