The Worst Christmas Ever

Damn... I'm late reading this thread, but that is one fucked up story. I'm not one to hit girls, I'm really not... but I'd have smacked that bitch. Just a backhand at least.

It sounds like your friends would back you up, maybe you'd feel better if beat the guys asses at least. This is one of those situations where anything short of violence just feels wrong.

Dude, we've all had experiences like this. Look at some of the back history and see some of our sob stories. Jingus had a rough one, and there is a bitch named Emily who needs her teeth kicked down her throat by my foot.

We can't help it. We're men. We get attracted to someone and take all kinds of abuse before we realize what is going on. We rant and curse and say we'll never do it again, and then we turn around and do the exact same thing with another girl, or if we're exceptionally foolish, the same girl.

It's a vicious, violent cycle that we're all stuck in, and the only way out is death.

I've burned enough bridges to know what I would do in this situation: curse her out. I've done it before; I'm sure I'll do it again. Hell, I don't even trust my own emotions anymore, and I'm at the point where I'm seriously considering being tested for depression.

But, enough about my fragile and cracked mental state. Rough break man.

And I second AoO's suggestion, only no drinking and lighttubes and my back instead of drywall for me.

My name is Patrick S., and I'm a voyeuristic masochist who sticks around girls I want and their boyfriends for no adequately explored reason.

Well, glad I'm not the only one.

"This all reminds me of that one Offspring song(from when they weren't total shite) which i have forgotten the name of."

Self-Esteem?

Back in my single days, I experienced crap like this all the time. Best thing to do is sever contact with her. Sever and don't look back...

Update? Anyone want an update? I'll give you one anyway.

I returned to school a week and a half later. I hadn't talked to her for the remainder of the break. We get back to school and the first thing she says to me is, "Jon! I was going to call you, but I thought you were mad at me."

She later asked me for my history winter break assignment, and when I told her no, she tried to give me a hug and tell me she loved me, but I told her no a couple more times. I'm not especially mean to her, but I'm not especially nice to her, either...I'm civil towards her, at least.

1. I don't pretend to know much of anything about girls, considering I've had approximately one girlfriend in my 18 years o' living, and it turns out she was a lying cheating little whore.

But I do know she still wants to be friends, for some reason that is beyond me, and nothing drives her nuts worse than me ignoring her. One word answers, never make eye contact (not ducking your head, just keep your attention elsewhere), and never make it look like talking to her or being seen with her is anything more than a chore. It annoys the shit out of her, and it may do the trick for you, without you having to go off on her in a loud and profanity-laced way.

2. Kotzen, I should know better than to ask... but what is the "Yatta" dance?

lemme tell you about this civility shiz

DO this:

1) Act civil, say hi, chat

2) When she asks for help, tell her you'll call her later and send it, you dont have it right now

3) Don't

4) You have friends, buddies, have them help you w/ a reason why you didnt do what you said

5) they'll be unjustifiably upset

6) rinse and repeat

7) understand finally, why its cruel to be kind

Case in point:

I got screwed over in a relationship this November...typical girl who doesnt know that ill be the best guy to ever walk into her life

she practically showed me the door, after 2 months of lies

how do i get back? she comes up for a dance, im supposed to say hi to her there

i bring my friends tamar, jennie, and sarah. They bring girls, they recruit girls to dance with me

The entire night, i barely was able to say hi without being pulled for a dance.

See, I tried to be nice, but i circumstances warranting that i couldnt

She got upset and crept out sullen and sad.

I got revenge...and i did it while appearing like i had always been "a nice guy"

Do that. Have your friends help you, enlist a few girls who wont mind helping you out...everyone probably knows howmuch of a bitch she is, and theres nothing more satisfying than being a part of a reality check.

And then, down a beer in celebration
