Heathers Special Edition DVD

I have received 3 different copies of this DVD and all of them give me a disc error. I have tried playing them on several DVD players, both Mac and PC computers, and a Playstation 2, and it hasn't worked at any time. I was worried that perhaps the format was wrong, but it says that it's region 1 (USA and Canada), so I don't know why it's giving me problems. I love the collector's tin, but if the movie doesn't work, why bother keeping it?

 

Anybody know why this might be happening?

This is why I didn't pick up the tin when it came out...as soon as it was released, there were complaints about the exact same thing. I think there's just a problem with the DVDs that were pressed.

I have the non-tin SE, and it works fine. I hate the tins.
