Guest Polish_Rifle Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Even with their uglier than usual uniforms, the Lakes found themselves in the toilet once again. Instead of going into my usual anti-Laker rant, all I have to say is that Shaq broke Bobby Jackson's hand and there wasn't even a foul called!...That's the typical Laker bullshit that makes me hate them so much... The following is an exerp of the Sacramento Bee's report on the game... ____________ Bobby Jackson had driven to the basket with 4:25 left in the fourth quarter when Lakers center Shaquille O'Neal swiped at the ball. Jackson immediately reached for his left hand and then realized that O'Neal had not been called for a foul. "A guy breaks his (expletive deleted) hand and can't even get a foul call," Jackson said as he dressed after the game. "Hell, yeah, I expected a foul. I thought I had dislocated my finger at first." _____ Enough said.

Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Poor Boston... I was hoping for at least a close game there. As for LA, I'm glad they lost, but there new jerseys aren't that bad. Whenever I play vs. LA in Live 2003, I always give them that jersey.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted December 26, 2002 Man... Laker defense is god AWFUL this year. At least when they slacked off last year, they looked respectable. But then again... I'm glad they are having a shitty year. Oh, and screw Shaq for breaking Jackson's hand. Fucker... (Yes, I know it was incidental, I just needed to get that out of my system)

Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted December 31, 2002 Another great prediction this year, the Kings will beat Lakers in game 4 of the championship. But what about the other games in the series?
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted December 31, 2002 Another great prediction this year, the Kings will beat Lakers in game 4 of the championship. Problem with that scenario there, Bubble Boy. Kings and Lakers are in the same conference. Even if the Kings were to sweep the Lakers this year, it couldn't be in the champioship series. Sorry to be so anal-retentive. Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted December 31, 2002 At this rate, I'm thinking that, if they meet, a Kings-Lakers series will not be for the Western Conference championship unless heads are pulled out of asses in Los Angeles. However, if they do meet, Sacramento advances in 4 or 5 games, depending on where they meet in the brackets.

Guest kkktookmybabyaway Report post Posted December 31, 2002 I remember years ago in his Magic days vs. Indiana Shaq knocked Vern Fleming to the ground (I think he was trying to block the former Pacers shot) and knocked several teeth out (no foul called). Nice to see some things never change...
Guest Lethargic Report post Posted December 31, 2002 Sorry to be so anal-retentive. oh, its ok. But you are. Anyhow, the Kings will be champions this year. The thing I worry about with the Kings is that once they DO beat the Lakers, will they still realize that the playoffs are going? Every year the whole year is based around who will win the title, Lakers or Kings. Once the Kings get passed them I could very easily see them just thinking "wow, we finally did it, easy sailing from here" and have some team from the east like the Pacers or somebody take it right to them before they realize what hit them. Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted January 1, 2003 As a Lakers fan it is hard to watch the Lakers go out there and lose to some shitty teams and come up short against good teams. But it's not even the middle of the season and people are already predicting the end for the Lakers. If they are doing poorly come March then I'll be worried but until then it's pointless to predict the outcomes of their season.

But it's not even the middle of the season and people are already predicting the end for the Lakers. If they are doing poorly come March then I'll be worried but until then it's pointless to predict the outcomes of their season. The problem is that people keep going, "well, it's only 5 games....it's only 10 games, it's only a month, it's only been 1/4th of the season, it's only been 1/3rd of the season...." When will it be time to get a little worried? The problem is that if you don't worry about it now, then there might not be a point of worrying come March cause they could be so far out of it it won't matter how they're playing. Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted January 2, 2003 Fans are worried about whether or not the Lakers cane make it to the playoffs down in LA but people aren't scrambling and writing off the Lakers this early into the season. Like I said, if they haven't gotten their shit together come March then Laker fans should start panicking. Right now the Lakers need to get to .500 which is like pulling teeth for them right now.
