The New Great Muta

I have never had the privilege of watching puroresu, with the exception of an FMW tape I got for my birthday. Just to clarify, TokyoPop sucks at making DVD's because they showed about 2 minutes worth of clips for every match. Anyway, I was reading earlier this year about a new Great Muta that was not played by Mutoh, and initial speculation (fear?) that it might be Joanie Laurer in the role. That was untrue, though as I saw a pic of Muta with multi-colored hair and such. I have since heard nothing about this wrestler. Does anyone have pictures, info on who was behind the mask, and what was planned for him? Thanks.

The "fake" Great Muta is played by some American, who I believe has been trained at NJPW's Dojo in LA. On a recent tour he suffered a knee injury and will be out for months.

The guy who played Muta used to wrestle in NWA Wildside as Omen, from all accounts he was a hardcore type brawler, but the NJ Dojo probably kicked some serious workrate into him.

Holy shit, OMEN!? I actually have seen him before, live. You have to be kidding me. Not that he isn't ok, but I actually know of this guy.
