Guest treble charged Report post Posted December 28, 2002 If I'm walking down the sidewalk, hallway, etc., and I see someone who I don't want to make eye contact with, I look at my watch, and sometimes just at my wrist if I'm not even wearing a watch. Also, I will always hit the 'Indiglo' button on the watch, even if it's broad daylight and you can't even tell if the Indiglo is activated. I also am basically always wearing a baseball cap, unless I'm sleeping, showering, or somewhere where wearing a hat is not accepted (church, dinner table, etc.). Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 28, 2002 When I'm having the slightest bit of trouble writing something I bang on the desk for a while. When I wait in line overnight for Saturday Night Live tickets I have a variety of quirks. When I wait there at night I wear- Maple Leafs jersey Shorts (regardless of the weather) When I come back at Saturday to see if I got into the show I wear- My Braves 1995 World Series shirt A cap with the letter 'A' on it Pants (regardless of the weather) I also must bring a copy of the Bible and read from it as I wait to see if I got in. Guest Miss Indy Queen Report post Posted December 28, 2002 I tend to be sarcastic a lot of the time and I don't even realize that I am even doing so. I need to have the tv on before I go to sleep. I have to set the timer on the tv b/c I can't stand the silence while I'm trying to go to bed. Also when I fall asleep I need to be curled up almost like in a ball. It's a weird way I sleep I guess with my body in a weird position. I can't explain it.
Guest Matt Young Report post Posted December 28, 2002 I tend to twirl around a pencil, regardless of whether what I'm doing warrants use of a pencil or not. When I get really deep in thought, I can be whirring that thing around at light speed and not even notice. I have to have all pictures, posters, etc. on my wall perfectly straight. In my CD collection, I have to have all CD's by one band together and in chronological order, but the bands aren't in any alphabetical order. I leave my TV on 24/7 pretty much, and just turn the volume down when I'm not watching it. Sometimes, if I'm very tired and don't want to get up and turn off my TV before bed, I use the remote and change it to DirecTV Channel 420, which is my lucky number but a nonexistent channel. Guest Bosstones Fan Report post Posted December 29, 2002 I refuse to cross a street against the 'Walk/Don't Walk' signal out of fear of being sideswiped by a speeding car. I am constantly checking to make sure my wallet and keys are still in my pockets. I have such a sick fear of losing either of them it should probably be officially recognized as a new mental disorder...
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted December 29, 2002 I'm always checking for my wallet/keys too. ESPECIALLY when I go to the movies. I don't know why, but I keep checking to make sure nothing has fallen out while I'm sitting.
Guest treble charged Report post Posted December 29, 2002 I have that fear of losing my wallet and keys thing, too. I have to constantly either pat my pockets or stick my hands in them to make sure that whatever's in there hasn't fallen out.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted December 29, 2002 Yeah, I'm always making sure my keys are still in my pocket. Although I don't really have to worry about the wallet thing, as I have a chain, so the slightest movement would give the chain a tug. Oh, and I alphabetize my CD collection. Artists' names are in alphabetical (with singles artists last name being used to place them in their proper spot), and then do it in chronological order. Having over 250 CDs in my current collection, you know how much of a pain in the ass it is to suddenly by a CD byAC/DC or Accept? I'm also thinking of categorizing them by genre, then alphabetically, and THEN chronologically...
