Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted December 27, 2002 Flair uses his music from 1992 in the WWF instead of his other usual music. Any reason for this?
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted December 27, 2002 Also, Edge uses his old music on this card too. But nobody really cares
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2002 Flair uses his music from 1992 in the WWF instead of his other usual music. Any reason for this? Did you watch it off of a DVD or from the original recording? Sometimes they change the music on DVDs. VERY apparent in Royal Rumble 2002.
Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted December 27, 2002 I think WWE just edited it for commercial release for some reason.
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted December 27, 2002 Yeah, the thing about Edge's: why do they use his "ANCIENT" 1998 version, when they could use the E+C version? It's the same on Anthology
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 27, 2002 This has been discussed many times but they change a lot of music so Vince doesn't have to pay a fee for using it
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted December 27, 2002 It's the same reason Hogan would come out to "Voodoo Chile" for a Nitro interview, but then come out to regular nWo music for a match: Licensing. Bobby Boy explained it, Matty Boy provides the example.
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted December 27, 2002 Yeah, I hate the editing on WWE DVDs. What I don't understand is on Royal Rumble '02 which has a lot of music editing, Flair's music remains intact. But on Summerslam 02 Flair's music is edited to his 92 version. Don't know what the deal is with that. Question: On the WMx8 disk what music is edited, since I'm gonna pick it up soon...
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 27, 2002 Flair's music is edited on every other PPV of 2002. Either Vince didn't know he had to pay or since it was Flair's first match in ten months he figured he'd pony up the dough I don't think any music on X-8 is edited because it's Wrestlemania and all. Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted December 27, 2002 Flair's current music is a production theme. It was overdubbed with his WWF-made theme from the early 90's on most of the DVD's. I have it if anyone wants me to post it.
Guest eiker_ir Report post Posted December 27, 2002 none of the music is edited in the WM 18 dvd Yeah, the thing about Edge's: why do they use his "ANCIENT" 1998 version, when they could use the E+C version? It's the same on Anthology is there a difference?

Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted December 27, 2002 So WMx8 there is no editing?are you sure. Edge? Flair? Taker? I've even heard that the nWo comes out to the fake theme found in the video game WMx8 (I hope that's not true).
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 27, 2002 Nope- there is no editing in X-8. Anyone else wanna vouch for me here?
Guest Mole Report post Posted December 27, 2002 What is Flair's music from 1992? You really can't blame Vince for wanting to change it. I am sure it costs a pretty penny for rights to music. I'd wanna change music too.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 27, 2002 It's like a poor knockoff of 'Theme from 2001'- his usual theme
Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted December 27, 2002 'Theme from 2001' It's actually a classical piece titled "Also Sprach Zarathustra"
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted December 27, 2002 No editing in WMX8...apart from they updated RVD's theme to his new one, which isn't a bad thing.

Guest eiker_ir Report post Posted December 27, 2002 no theme editing AT ALL in WM 18, RVD was using his new theme since the Rumble.....but in the Rumble dvd it is edited the only edits that really have pissed me were the Flair one ar SummerSlam and the Kid Rock music in Royal Rumble 2002
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted December 27, 2002 I believe they also edited the video package to No Way Out. Editing out Kid Rock's 'Cocky' was pretty fucking idiotic since now the video package before RR02 is just lame
Guest geniusMoment Report post Posted December 27, 2002 I actually liked his 1992 theme better. I'm sure I am in the minority on this one but I just liked it.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2002 I actually liked his 1992 theme better. I'm sure I am in the minority on this one but I just liked it. Hehehe...I like both of those themes. But I like Flair's old WWF theme for one reason... It played when he won the 1992 Rumble.
