Flair uses his music from 1992 in the WWF instead of his other usual music. Any reason for this?

Did you watch it off of a DVD or from the original recording?

 

Sometimes they change the music on DVDs.

 

VERY apparent in Royal Rumble 2002.

Yeah, the thing about Edge's: why do they use his "ANCIENT" 1998 version, when they could use the E+C version? It's the same on Anthology

This has been discussed many times but they change a lot of music so Vince doesn't have to pay a fee for using it

It's the same reason Hogan would come out to "Voodoo Chile" for a Nitro interview, but then come out to regular nWo music for a match: Licensing. Bobby Boy explained it, Matty Boy provides the example.

Yeah, I hate the editing on WWE DVDs. What I don't understand is on Royal Rumble '02 which has a lot of music editing, Flair's music remains intact. But on Summerslam 02 Flair's music is edited to his 92 version. Don't know what the deal is with that.

Question: On the WMx8 disk what music is edited, since I'm gonna pick it up soon...

Flair's music is edited on every other PPV of 2002. Either Vince didn't know he had to pay or since it was Flair's first match in ten months he figured he'd pony up the dough

 

I don't think any music on X-8 is edited because it's Wrestlemania and all.

Flair's current music is a production theme. It was overdubbed with his WWF-made theme from the early 90's on most of the DVD's.

yeah - the one on Anthology was used ONCE at Summerslam 99 - it was kind of a mixture of his Volume 3 and Volume 4 themes.

no theme editing AT ALL in WM 18, RVD was using his new theme since the Rumble.....but in the Rumble dvd it is edited

 

 

the only edits that really have pissed me were the Flair one ar SummerSlam and the Kid Rock music in Royal Rumble 2002

I believe they also edited the video package to No Way Out.

 

Editing out Kid Rock's 'Cocky' was pretty fucking idiotic since now the video package before RR02 is just lame

Hehehe...I like both of those themes. But I like Flair's old WWF theme for one reason...
