Guest TheDames7 Report post Posted March 8, 2002 Tonight...anything that Nash did...SUCKED. I don't blame the guy for trying, but Jesus. He couldn't sell Rock's punches properly, couldn't jump over the top rope the first time. When Austin came in the ring, Nash tried to grab the guy and was made to look like a buffoon. He just stands there and gets hit with chairshots twice. The guy doesn't look like a threat in the ring whatsoever anymore. I've never seen Nash look THIS bad. Guest mastermind Report post Posted March 8, 2002 Yep, Nash looked bad. I guess the wwf done one thing right and not put him in a match for Mania. It's really sad when Hogan who is older is more reliable to put on a match. Sad. BTW, check out my re-booking of the wwf from 1989-WM 17. I know you want to be a booker I want to know what you think. Guest Army Eye Report post Posted March 8, 2002 Yeah. I don't understand what's going on with Nash. When he was in WCW he was never a good worker but he could dish out a fine beatdown. He looks really disoriented out there so far.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 8, 2002 I agree. Nash looked really bad. I don't know what it is, but he looked horrible out there.
Guest The Masked Yodeler Report post Posted March 8, 2002 I don't know what it is, but he looked horrible out there. I'll tell you what it is, he's Nash.

Guest Army Eye Report post Posted March 8, 2002 He's been Nash all this time but he's never looked this bad, to my recollection.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted March 8, 2002 I didn't see it, but from what I understand it was worse than usual. That must be bad. Are we talking Giant Gonzales level here?

Guest converge241 Report post Posted March 8, 2002 What was especially horrible about that spot with Nash over the rope was that he completley screwed it up and then proceded to try and refall through the ropes for no reason. I mean, if you cant make it over shouldnt you at least play it off like rock's force was'nt strong enough and then improvise and let Rock knock you out some other way? The way Nash did it looked either: a) completley fake b) Nash lives in his own little world with very strange garavity where he gets his balance back but re-falls for no reason through the ropes. Guest humongous2002 Report post Posted March 8, 2002 The WWF should send Nash to Tough Enough , not to train the contestants but to compete against them. I bet he doesn't last a week before he gets booted.lol.
Guest mastermind Report post Posted March 8, 2002 Man, you guys are really harsh on Nash. Tough Enough that's hilarious. I almost feel sorry for the guy. Um, not really the big lazy bastard deserves all the "praise" he's getting here. Dames, I know everything that's why I'm the mastermind*lol*. No, I saw one of your posts from awhile back. The posts are titled If Vince kept kayfabe would the sport look like this? There is one part here and the other parts are in the old stuff forum.

Guest wrestlemaniac16 Report post Posted March 9, 2002 I don't know, about Nash, but is it me or does Scott Hall look old. I mean the guy doesn't really move like he used to. He seemed to be moving really slow.
Guest Army Eye Report post Posted March 9, 2002 It's about the same as how he worked in WCW. I expected maybe a little better.
Guest Risk Report post Posted March 9, 2002 Do we have to talk about Nash? Quick, someone start a new thread.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted March 9, 2002 I don't know, about Nash, but is it me or does Scott Hall look old. I mean the guy doesn't really move like he used to. He seemed to be moving really slow. Is it just me or do all three of them look like shit. Every time Hogan takes his shades off to stare at someone i almost fall out of my chair laughing at how old he looks. Nash looks like he needs a new hip. Hall looks just plain shitty And if they were going to rehire a alcoholic why didn't they rehire EDDY
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 9, 2002 Scott Hall is like a band that gets sober. They start looking old and aren't as good as they were when they were drinking. Drinking alcohol is supposedly bad for your health. However, alot of people when they quit drinking after doing it for awhile they look worse then they ever did while drinking. Strange occurance
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted March 9, 2002 Well than, if scott hall ever comes to my town i'll get him piss drunk.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 9, 2002 The nWo look different in their own way. Like it's been said, Hogan looks old without his shades, Hall is a little beefy in the gut, Nash looks the same, but his knees are shot.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted March 9, 2002 They should call then selfs the GWO, Geriatric World Order.
Guest RedJed Report post Posted March 9, 2002 I'm really starting to think that Vince should have just signed Hogan to a short term contract (like a year....have him retire at Mania 19) and left it at that. Hogan at least can still pull out a star power quotient out for a year or so here and add some flavor to the shows. Hall and Nash so far have not shown me anything special at all. Nash in particular seems even pointless to have around.....he's hardly doing anything and is collecting a massive paycheck. The fact that he's obviously not even putting forth an effort to get in shape says alot as well. Whats really sad is that he somehow arranged it so that in the Austin-Hall match, he will end up getting the same cut of change from that match as those two. How f*cked up is that??!! Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted March 9, 2002 Man, I've been screaming this sentiment for weeks! The NWO will be appealing and interesting until they have to get in the ring and wrestle. Nash hasn't even had a match yet and he's already being exposed as crappy!!! Hall and hHogan will be exposed at Mania. Just wait til after Mania and everyone will turn their back on the whole NWO fiasco. I predict Vince may keep them around for comic relief (ala Brisco/Patterson), ok correct that, bad comic relief but these guys are DONE!!! Or he'll cut them loose ala Buff Bagwell and blame it on the dinosaurs when his daughter and the writing team are not helping anybody, including HHH. After knocking the dinosaurs for the last few weeks, I actually feel bad that the angle has been booked so piss poor. OK, I don't feel bad because hopefully when it gets to rock bottom, Vince will realize he needs to change his business approach and someone will think of something NEW and EXCITING. Or the WWF may be WCW Part 2. It wouldn't surprise me.
