Who else is looking foward to Steiner-HHH?

You guys can't be serious about wanting Stiener to leave the business cause of an injury do you?

:(

They are sick enough. Me? I am just hoping for a short 15 minute decent brawl...Steiner to lay down...Job to Booker, Put over RVD at WMXIX and WWE to chalk it up to another misfire and can him.

Hate to break it to you, but that's probably what's going to happen, whether we want it to or not. Why do you think he's getting a remarkable push against Trips? Everyone knows he might not be able to walk by mania, so no long-term threat = Trips being more than generous in putting him over.

And what exactly is "great" about the build-up? Their promo last week was aimless, meandering, at times confusing, and all-around lame, even by wrestling standards? Both men could learn a thing or two about sounding scary without yelling all the time. Yeesh, that was bad.

I didn't watch this week, but come on. An arm-wrestling match? Was there some killer segment I missed? Anything worthwile they've done with that I should know about?

Pro: Chances are high of Triple H seriously injuring his other quad

Con: Would lead to months of nonstop video packages showing Triple H's courageous recovery...

Pro: After returning he would probably suck even worse in the ring, bringing it down to comedy level.

HHH has done enough despicable things, business-wise, for me to wish bodilly harm on him. He bangs the bosses daughter to keep things centered around himself, for cripes sake. Does that answer your question?

Steiner I almost feel sorry for. At least he gets his fifteen minutes of supposed fame, I suppose.

I can't say i'm particularly looking forward to the battle of the Roid Ragers. So of course the feud will go on forever, culminating in another 2/3 falls match, featuring a 'Who has the biggest dick' match, a 'Who can imply having sex with the most women' match, and finally a battle to the death once both men let the Roid Rage take over.

A cousin of mine and a friend are splitting to get the Rumble. Either it will be stiff and brutal, or funny as hell.

Stiff? Steiner is a roid monster, but he's not stupid enough to mess around with Bangs the Boss's Daughter, who's already ladden with injuries.

As for HHH, he knows Steiner is fragile enough as it is, and damn if he's going to risk the inevitable injury being his fault by pushing things too hard. No, he'll wait for Scotty to hurt himself, or better yet, for someone like RVD Jericho or even Booker T. to get "too stiff" with Steiner so that he can use the arguement again that they "don't know how to work WWE style" and send the plumeting down to midcard hell.

Thank goodness you have that neural linkup with HHH. Now we always know what he's thinking!

I have a vague feeling that you're patronizing me. You wouldn't patronize someone, would you son? ;)

Crips has a wierd way of putting blame on others. It will be interesting to see who gets blamed for Steiner getting injurred if/when that happens: the guy in the ring with him at the time, or the dolts who vouched for bringing in and pushing a half-criple to begin with.

I suppose time's just going to have to tell on that one.

Remember that Gerwitz got blamed for booking Nash, who wasn't supposed to wrestle until a Friday house show.

And when he got injured WALKING ACROSS THE RING it wasn't considered his fault despite him not being in any kind of shape which he should have been. Hell, walking across the ring?!

Of course, I wish Gerwitz would have been fired anyway, but nevertheless, if Nash is considered blameless I don't see why you should be surprised.

I can see some blame going to Gerwitz for not informing Nash, but then Big Kev shouldn't even be in the wrestling business if he's not ready to pick up and go at some point. He was inviting an accident like that for himself by continuing to collect his pay check when he knew he wasn't in the proper physical shape to continue his employment. It was only a matter of time.

And once again, when Nash got hurt, where was the dude who vouched for the nWo to be brought in to begin with? Shouldn't that person have a responsibility to both the company he works for and his friends not to put them in physical or ecconomic danger? Shouldn't someone who took such a risk with other people's health and money be taken to task when things go wrong?

Funny how *that* never happened.

i can't wait to see how hilariously bad this match will be. i'm thinking these 2 can take it to brothers of destruction/kronik-, or maybe even hogan/warrior II-like levels.

moreover, i hope that angle/benoit is before that match, angle acts like a total arrogant dick & benoit plays ricky steamboat to get the fans as into the match as possible, so that they sit on their hands & don't say anything when they realize what a steaming pile of shit they're watching.

and i wouldn't be surprised at all if steiner injured trips, cause the big bad booty daddy is known for working stiff and i don't think he has the brainpower to keep thinking, "okay, try REALLY REALLY hard not to hurt this guy," while he's trying to work a match. it's too much to concentrate on at once, his head would explode.

You know, something occoured to me.

I think it's safe to assume that Steiner is on 'roids and has exhibited some anger/rage problems in the past.

I don't know if Trips has had similar bouts of rage or not. I can't place a report of it off the top of my head.

But say . . . stay with me . . . say both of them get into a horrible fit of rage during this match and just start shooting on one another like crazy. I mean, imagine what kind of brawl the chemicals in their veins could turn this into.

I'm almost tempted to be excited about this match purely for the roid rage opportunities.

This match has "train wreck" written all over it. Two men who are physical wrecks trying to put on an entertaining match. I'm not sure Steiner wouldn't go nuts on HGH. Remember were talking about someone who flies off the handle at the smalles thing. This match will be peversely entertaining. If they try anything more than the most basic of moves, both men will probably fall apart. I'm guessing this match will be between horrific and barely acceptable.

Steiner's house show match reviews have been terrible. HHH since return from injury hasn't been a shade of what he was. Two negatives in this case, will not make a positive.

Hopefully they will continue with the good build to build the anticipation.

I bet they don't show Steiner in a ring on WWE TV before the Rumble.

I'll be at the Rumble live and if I see one of them get injuried, Joy. Well...HHH getting injuried would be pretty damn cool.
