Your local indy's/indies heavyweight champ

Well Maine surprisingly has 4 indies(Two of them decent, one of them hit and miss and one of them REALLY bush league). The one I attend is Maine's Biggest indy the Eastern Wrestling Alliance. The champ over here is a guy by the name of Adam Booker who wrestled a dark match for NWA TNA, the guy is a good,solid wrestler and potential star in the making but he's been champ for wayyy too long. He's kind of like Edge except he doesn't make stupid jokes, a good solid wrestler with a good look and poor mic skills. The reason why Booker has been champion for too long is because he's feuded with all of the heels that are potential threats except for the semi-retired heel Commissioner(sp?). Currently he's feuding with the slightly boring,slightly bland but awesome up and comer "Hurricane" John Walters. John Walters reminds me of a cross between Benoit in 95-96 and HHH in his glory years. The thing is Walters doesn't have much charisma and is pretty much up to now a mid carder. Hopefully it'll all turn out good.

 

 

The "biggest" feud in EWA though is Dr. Heresy Vs Chris Hammrick in a heel Vs heel feud(It's weird when an indy's top feud is heel Vs heel. Well it would be wrong to call Dr. Heresy a heel since he's a heel that sometimes works face(Which is also odd). Dr. Heresy is an excellent mat technician and bumps great, he's hit or miss on the mic but overall the guy is good.

IWF (Michigan)

 

Champ, Sabu...IWF has taken a couple months off...but Sabu's had an on again off again feud with the Lynch Mob, which at any time can consist of: Corporal Robinson, Yukon Braxton, Madman Pondo, 2 Tuff Tony, and Cash Flo
