They must be seperate promotions with separate World champions and stay seperate (except in the buildup to Wrestlemania, where champion vs. champion matches would surely draw big buyrates). They can feud after a fashion with Vince & Flair commenting how they are behind in the ratings (do a Monday Night war except not in opposition, and with both companies mentioning the other. Poorly performing wrestlers could be challenged with redundancy if they do not improve as they are holding the promotion back in the ratings war etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Guest red_file Report post Posted March 9, 2002 Now this is what I don't understand: virtually everyone has long since agreed that the best way to handle the split (if indeed there a split be) is to have a complete and utter division of talent and concept, and yet people keep stating this opinion as if it's original and necessary.
