Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted December 30, 2002 in ECW, I think, Tajiri did a move that was kinda like a torture rack, only he held them differently, accross his back I think, and spun around. What was this move?

Guest Dace59 Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Nope. Across the Back Backbreaker Rack. The opp was face out from his back, hooked by the head/neck and the leg. He'd spin them round and round, then release they leg, swinging them infromt of him. Used to set up kicks and his Dragon Suplex.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted December 30, 2002 what is a somersalt dive, tope con hilio, smoersalt plancha or something different?
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Somersault Dive: Would be any dive from, to, over, through ropes ladders etc. with a somerault. Eg Somersault Senton Suicida (Flipping senton over the top rope) Tope Con Hilo: Translastes as Cloud with thred. Rope Assist Dives to the outside. But also used to call Handspring cartwheel somersault dives to the outside, eg the Sasuke Specials. Somersault plancha is a somersault plancha (dive over the ropes)

Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Dace, I believe Joey Styles dubbed the move a Helicopter Spin. And from Ravenbomb's description, it appears as though he is talking about the move where Tajiri would get him into the Across-the-Back Rack and then spin, only releasing them to fall down to the mat afterwards. I know he did this to Super Crazy and Guido.
Guest Joe_G Report post Posted December 30, 2002 "that move is Shocker's finisher" Oh, that's the move we're talking about. We called it the Circuit Breaker when we first saw it, but Shocker actually calls it La Reinera if you want a pet name for it.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted December 30, 2002 Styles also called a Sitout Powerbomb a Tiger Bomb. A Rolling Elbow a Roaring Elbow. A Swinging DDT a Tornado DDT. He was half decent, but still miscalled.
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted December 31, 2002 About the Across the Back Back Rack... has anyone ever dropped onto their back from that position, crushing their opponents chest/stomach? I've considered that move before, it would look quite painful.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted December 31, 2002 has anyone ever done a corkscrew SSP? If not then I'll be the first to.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted December 31, 2002 No to both. Corkscrew SSP would be damn hard, you have to twist 360 on the horizontal, as you so the SSP.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted December 31, 2002 I'll do it. wont be able to prove i did it, but i will.
