The announcers discussed a trade that could be in the works which would send VC to Cleveland in exchange for Darius Miles and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. They also said that TSN (?) had denied that any such trade had been discussed. Discuss.

The guy can't carry a team, has a terrible attitude, and his injury prone. Time and time he proved in the clutch he can't hand with the big boys. All he has are fancy dunks with nothing else. They should get whatever they can for the guy before he falls apart.

Personally I'd make this trade in a heartbeat. I don't think they'd get anything better. A young rising star and one of the better centers in the league now that he's finally healthy for a loser like Vince Carter? That's a great trade. It also provest that Cleveland IS going for the worst record and a shot at Lebron.

Guest Banky Posted December 30, 2002 Report Posted December 30, 2002 As a Canadian, I'll gladly admit Carter is one of the most overated players. He ruled it at the slam duck comp. in 2000, now he is useless. I'd get anything I could for the waste of talent.
