Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted March 10, 2002 I didn't mean to sound like a smartass, I just wanted to know what you thought was deep. I didn't know they did a Diary about Nas. Maybe I will try to catch it next time it is on. Just in case I don't catch it any time soon, what did he say about One Mic?
Guest Report post Posted March 11, 2002 nas is gay, hip-hop is dilluted and anyone can make a platinum album (ex. eminem, bubba sparx, and southern rappers "master p,cash money, petey pablo"). Nas was good, illmatic was a great album, but all of it sucks now. ever notice you don't see great mc's like rakim doing those gay diaries.
Guest Ripper Report post Posted March 11, 2002 I loved the diary and all, and I like that he took his time and came strong with a album this time, but I don't see how that was suppose to say he won the beef. He still lost in my eyes. Hell, LL still has a career and I will still say that Canibus won the battle they had. And Rakim doesn't do those diaries maybe because he hasn't come out with album in the last 5 years. You have to go further back to find a good album (I'm sorry, the last few were pretty bad). I hate when people that have no idea what they are talking about try to paint hip-hop with a broad brush by just saying it all sucks because it isn't "REAL" any more and start naming who they think shouldn't sell. Guest KOR420 Report post Posted March 20, 2002 Rakim is dope and he is set to release an album with his joining the Aftermath label so it should be interesting how he comes out now that he's part of dre's label I liked his last CD it was pretty hot
