Guest godthedog Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 i disagree about trips coming back. the return of the new world older was, in my opinion, the catalyst for almost everything. if they'd never come, austin would still be motivated and having ****1/2+ matches with eddie guerrero & chris benoit, instead of walking out on the company. vince being vince, he would've kept the ball in austin's hands & never given it to trips, and trips would not have been able to stage the coup d'ego that became monday night raw. and hbk never would've come back to continue the clique circle-jerking, culminating in the michaels/trips feud. everything points to the new world older.

He said something like this: There's lots of dumb crap, but mostly I just don't like the people they show. I like RVD and I like Jericho. That sounds about right, although the majority of the blame still rests in the hands of the two McMahons that just don't "get it" when it comes to doing what's right for the business as opposed to stroking their own egos and making nice-nice with their favourites. Going ahead with the brand extension without sorting out major details Hogan and Taker winning the title Hogan having bike problems while chasing Taker Steph named SD GM after being "off tv forever" Complete depush of Jericho, RVD, Booker Big pushes for NWO, Bradshaw, Bubba Molly's granny panties HHH making the entire locker room his bitches only to reveal he's the one who attacked HBK The Un-Americans HHH gets World title handed to him, retired IC title The Billy and Chuck wedding HLA, complete with annoying Lawler commentary Raw Roulette The entire Torrie/Dawn/Al storyline Kane beating three tag teams on his own in TLC4, only to be buried by HHH via Katie Vick angle Heyman brings out Undertaker's mistriss, Tracy Elimination chamber, with HBK winning Big Show beats Brock HHH interferes in HBK/RVD Name changes and subsequent pushes for Buchanan/B2, Hugh Morris/Bill DeMott, and Albert/A-Train Depush for Matt Hardy Version 1.0 There's probably a lot more that I missed, but you guys get the gist of it.
Guest BobBacklundRules Posted December 31, 2002 Report Posted December 31, 2002 -Hyping kane's return, and then kane dropping the red retard gimmick, coming back with a horrible new look, and trying to be funny -Taker and Hogan winning and holding the undisputed title -WWE eliminating the two midcard belts to form the HHH belt -HHH and HBK tossing the HHH belt back and forth, and burying RVD in the process -the glass in the elimination chamber being "bulletproof" and then jericho goes through the glass (details folks, details) -every marrage angle -that fat make-up chick getting more lines than most wrestlers -the un-americans -hossilization -f-view tv, another failed hidden camera angle -wwf trying to be an entertainment company -the roster split and all the failed attempts to get it
