Guest Downhome Report post Posted January 1, 2003 Do you feel there is too much a difference between these two, in regards to ones emotional state? If one ponders life after their death if something happened to them, is that not bad enough on a certain level? I heard a debate about this on the radio, and I'm just currious as to what you guys think about it. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted January 1, 2003 How many topics have you started on death and murdering and how to murder and all that shit now?
Guest Downhome Report post Posted January 1, 2003 How many topics have you started on death and murdering and how to murder and all that shit now? Excuse you? This is only the second one even remotely having anything to do with the topic, the other being the "What if one of us die?" thread.
Guest papacita Report post Posted January 1, 2003 If one ponders life after their death if something happened to them, is that not bad enough on a certain level? I'm not totally sure what you mean here, but thinking about suicide doesn't necessarily make someone suicidal. It really all depends on the case, I guess. That's what I think also, but this crazy ass on Neil Bortz (or however you spell it) was on there the other night, saying that it's all in the same, and I totally do not agree with that. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 1, 2003 I lean more to Bortz or whatever his name is. I am not a suicidal person, and don't know any, but the topic never comes up, and I never think about it. If you are thinking about it, I would say chances are you are going to try, unless you can talk yourself out of it or whatever.
Guest Danny Dubya v 2.0 Report post Posted January 1, 2003 Meh... I am a pansy. I'd never want to feel a bulletshot or a knife jabbed in my back... hell, whether there is an afterlife or not, any successful attempt at suicide (whether by injury or toxin) is a lose-lose situation. Instead of wishing to kill myself, I wish that I could kill whoever is putting me through hell until it'd probably make me lose my mind. Insanity is better than suicide. Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Report post Posted January 2, 2003 Thinking about suicide doesn't make you suicidal. I think about suicide all the time, I'm almost casual about it. I'll lie in bed in the morning and think, "I really don't feel like getting up and going to work. Maybe I should just kill myself instead." But I'm not going to actually make an attempt. Guest Kinetic Report post Posted January 2, 2003 Hey, man. Is all this because I said you look like Dr. Phil? I didn't mean anything by it.
