Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted January 3, 2003 if you open up an E-Mail that's over 50k and there's nothing in it, you probably set a virus, worm, trojan or blackhole loose on your computer. Download a free virus-scan like AVG and find and remove those.
Guest MrRant Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Sounds like spyware/adware. Download Spybot.

Guest DrTom Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Best piece of advice to give: stop opening every email you get with an attachment, especially some kind of executable file. If your friends have gotten infected, you'll be one of the first people to know about it, since the virus/worm will typically send itself to everyone in their contact list.
