The next wwa ppv.

Recommended Posts

Guest bps "The Truth" 21

so far:

Jeff Jarrett (World Champ) versus Macho Man Randy Savage

Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Eddy Guerrero

Sabu vs. Crowbar

KroniK vs. Lenni & Lodi

Cruiserweight elimination match involving Christopher Daniels

you know...given the WWF storylines and the NWO and crap like that...this looks REALLY REALLY good.

I enjoyed the WWA's first PPV. I'll probably see this one too if I get my God Damn cable back on. I read Savage is now the Head Booker and Bryan Adams from KroniK is helping him.

Misterio/Guerrero has the potential to be better than anything the WWF has done in a long time.

I see no reason why they wouldn't be given as much time as they want.

Yeah, Misterio/Guerrero sounds good. But it would be even better if they had a TV deal so people actually knew something about WWA.

I don't think the ppv will go ahead, but if it does the card looks good it's a shame the WWF will probably never have competition again.

Call me a WWF mark, but everything possible match the WWA could put on that doesn't include cruiserweights just doesn't interest me.

Jarrett?  Savage? Kronik?  bleh.

The way I see it, there isn't a single non-cruiserweight not under WWF contract that's worth a damn outside of Scott Steiner, and he's injured, and a lock for the WWF when he's healed.

When a all cruiserweight promotion starts up and gets on TV or PPV, then I'll be interested.  Right now, my only interest in the WWA or XWF is seing which one crashes and burns first.

JJ is an average worker with average charisma and average mic skills.  Years ago, I thought he would make a good main eventer, but he has since proved me wrong.

He was the only thing mildly interesting to me at the end of WCW.

HHH has less skills, less charisma and less mic skills...if booked properly...JJ could rule.

Who said he needs to be a leader?

What kind of a leader is HHH?

What kind of a leader takes the Main Event face slot at WrestleMania after being off TV for 8 months.

What kind of a leader gets pushed towards the sky well not as over as certain other wrestlers who's crowd reactions get mysteriously edited out?

Yeah, Misterio/Guerrero sounds good. But it would be even better if they had a TV deal so people actually knew something about WWA.

And it would be still better if they actually had confirmed all these wrestlers.  So far all they have is Road Dogg.  Yeah, that'll put butts in the seats.

J.J. is a good wrestler who can work the old school & WWF styles. He pretty muched carried WCW in 2000 and 2001. Got a bad rap for wanting the money he was owned in advance. I would of done the same thing. Vince could of screwed him out of the money or just taken forever to pay him. He still jobbed the I-C Title to Chyna no less even though he could of showed up with the I-C Title on Vince Russo's first booked Monday Nitro in Oct. '99. Now the WWF has black-balled him for the time being even though the won't admit it.

the difference between Trips and JJ is that people actually care about Trips.

people do care about HHH

but if that was all that mattered...RVD would be higher on the card then HHH.

I wouldn't say RVD would be higher in the card than HHH, but he would be in the main events with The Rocks, SCSA's, HHH's, not wrestling Goldust in a midcard feud. If you go by "the people care more" about this wrestler. Then again he isn't banging the boss' daughter.

Well...since I order the ppvs and watch the TV shows...and none of that has anything to do with HHH...

...and hating a guy who is going to go into WrestleMania as a face...

...yeah...he'll make millions.

They really need to weaken HHH a bit and beef up Jericho if they want anyone to care about the match at Mania.  As it is, Jericho can't beat anyone without a run-in, heel ref, illegal object, etc.  Even when he was a heel, HHH routinely beat other guys cleanly.  The fans aren't going to believe that Jericho has the slightest chance against Trips unless they do some major shaking-up in the near future.

And as for WWA, does anyone else appreciate the irony of a Crowbar vs. Sabu match?

well, I consider sabu one of the last true hardcore warriors out there. Crowbar is more of a lightweigh who occasionally gets down with some crappy coreographated hardcore shit.

I was referring to how a few years back, Crowbar was known as Devon Storm.  He was paler, fatter, dressed like a Rocker, and wrestled exactly like a Sabu clone, down to the individual highspots.  ECW even did an angle about it once, when Taz was in his "Sabu fears me!" phase, and he destroyed Devon one week when he couldn't get his hands on the real article.

Please Welcome back Freak 5000.  I am here to say A J Styles and Jason Cross are in the elimination match.  I know A J Styles is for sure and am not 100 % about Cross.  Everyone stop bitching.  Jeff Jarrett is great.  Eddy and Rey J is going to be amazing.

I think the PPV will be worth checking out.  Jeff Jarrett rules, as do Psicosis, and Juvi.  The last one wasn't too bad either.

How can you compare J.J to HHH  ??

That's Like apples to oranges .

Ones a wrestler , the other a sports entertainer .

Of course HHH is more popular , he been jammed down our throats enough . He's ok to watch .. as long as he not in the ring .

I would choose Jeff Jarrett over HHH anyday.  Jarrett is a much better worker, and is much more entertaining to watch than HHH.

fine, the more you hate him the more he gets rich :)

Maurizzo that makes no damn sense on the real.

Jeff Jarret is kind of boring but he is better than HHH.......HHH sucks and I bet he is a lil bitch baby in the back.

I just got digital cable and have been looking forward to the WWA PPV for about a month.  I'm not blowing $30 on No Way Out (unless a couple people want to come over and watch it with me, but it's going to suck), and the $20 for a PPV featuring some of my old favorites (Daniels, Jarrett, Savage, Lenny) will be pretty cool.  I didn't get the chance to see the first PPV, but when the show is done and finished, I'll do a rant on it for the board.
