This isn't the Montreal Expos. The NHL doesn't want any Canadian teams to leave. Someone WILL buy this team...I just hope it isn't Paul Allen. (Besides, the Leafs wouldn't know what to do with good players if they fell out of the sky.)

If they get adequate financial aid, they can keep all of their good players and be a successful team for years to come. Also, Toronto sucks. Except Mats Sundin, because I have him in my local hockey pool.

In a utopian NHL, Florida and Atlanta would be contracted, the Nordiques, Jets, and Whalers would be back, and divisions and conferences would be named after people. But alas.

But alas. Contract the Ducks and Lighting too since they aren't getting that much people in the stadiums and they aren't doing well.

But by all means contract the Mighty Ducks, because even if they are sucking less, I still think of a young Joshua Jackson and his buddies going "quack! quack!" I wonder why the real Mighty Ducks haven't used the Flying V yet...
