Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted January 3, 2003 They didn't get their paychecks. Uh oh. Senators, I pray for thee.

Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted January 3, 2003 ::Prays they all become free agents and the Leafs or Canucks sign all their good players:: Oh, get real. This isn't the Montreal Expos. The NHL doesn't want any Canadian teams to leave. Someone WILL buy this team...I just hope it isn't Paul Allen. (Besides, the Leafs wouldn't know what to do with good players if they fell out of the sky.)
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Yes they do- they use the good players to eliminate the Sens from the playoffs every year

Guest bob_barron Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Funny, though, how every year Ottawa seems to go home at the hands of Toronto. I'd say contract them but I enjoy kicking their ass in the playoffs every year
Guest Phr33k Report post Posted January 3, 2003 Contract Buffalo for sure, but I don't know about Ottawa. If they get adequate financial aid, they can keep all of their good players and be a successful team for years to come. Also, Toronto sucks. Except Mats Sundin, because I have him in my local hockey pool.
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted January 4, 2003 Don't contract Buffalo, they've been around for a while and have some historical relevance. In a utopian NHL, Florida and Atlanta would be contracted, the Nordiques, Jets, and Whalers would be back, and divisions and conferences would be named after people. But alas. But alas. Contract the Ducks and Lighting too since they aren't getting that much people in the stadiums and they aren't doing well.
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted January 4, 2003 Tampa is leading the Southeast right now though, isn't it? But by all means contract the Mighty Ducks, because even if they are sucking less, I still think of a young Joshua Jackson and his buddies going "quack! quack!" I wonder why the real Mighty Ducks haven't used the Flying V yet...
