Guest NoCalMike Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Ok 3 things here.... Season premiere of Oz is this Sunday and it looks like for the first time EVER....Oz is getting the 9pm time slot rather than the usual 10pm time slot. I don't really care what time it is on because I would make the effort to watch it anyway, however it is nice to see the show must be more accepted now since HBO has decided to take a risk and show it an hour earlier for the final season. Secondly, Oz: The complete second season comes out a week from this coming Tuesday, so all you Oz fans, be sure to save a little extra cash and show your support. Season 2 is possibly the most brutal season of them all. Third, What are everyone's predictions for the last season? Will Beecher finally get out? Will Schillinger finally get taken out? How about our ol' solitary friend Miguel Alvarez and Omar White? Will Cyril be executed? How many more people can Ryan O'Reily manipulate until it FINALLY catches up to him? Is Augustus Hill REALLY dead? All this and much more... hehehe, damn I just gave a promo.
Guest converge241 Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 beecher and schillenger have a final to the death showdown episode one Beecher cant get out cause they ruined that with the dream episode..now THAT would have been the way to end it i cant believe its ending if they gave half the push they did to Sopranos this would have been more popular
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 I don't understand the hype around Oz... I saw one episode where it showed some big black guy raping some white small guy in the cell.... Something I want to forget really....
Guest Bricks Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 My only prediction... Beecher will get parole, but gets confronted by Schillenger on his way out, and Beecher kills him and gets death row. Anyways, what I want to know is what happened to Luke Perry. Honestly, they just went "Umm, he's gone" and never explained how he disappeared. That's been bugging me the most. Even more than the age-enhancing drugs or the training of dogs by prisoners. Bah, seeing as I'm in Canada, I have to wait til August to get this season.
Guest Choken One Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 Wasn't Perry Built into the wall shortly before the fire? So wouldn't he still be there.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 I've only seen the first season I've watched season 1 on dvd 3 times now...it'll take forever for all of them to come out. If they ever run a marathon someone has to tape them
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted January 3, 2003 Report Posted January 3, 2003 I suspect they'll never mention Perry again. He'll just fade away. Or else it will turn out he's actually God, or something equally stupid.
Guest NoCalMike Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 *SPOILER* Luke Perry's character was locked up behind the wall, but then the wall blew up and he was badly burned and scarred. Tommy Kirk(the redhead kid) is shown in scenes for this season saying, "help me, he's coming back" I am sure it is referring to Luke Perry's character. Luke Perry on his way to death had a scene that mimicked the walk Jesus took that was humiliating or something. I am not 100% sure what it was referencing, but there is a great explanation of it somewhere.
Guest Black Lushus Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I don't understand the hype around Oz... I saw one episode where it showed some big black guy raping some white small guy in the cell.... Something I want to forget really.... the reason you don't understand the hype is because people like you think it's only about gay sex...if you actually take the time to watch some of the episodes you will find some of the most interesting characters on any TV show that's come out in the past ten years...
Guest hardyz1 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Beecher was denied parole a couple seasons ago. Or was it last season? Too much time between seasons... Anyway, I don't know much about parole, but I don't think he would get another hearing so soon. I do, however, think either Beecher or Schillinger will definitely die.
Guest hardyz1 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 This has been a double post of the Emergency Broadcast System.
Guest Black Lushus Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 well, they said he'd be up for parole again in a year and usually each season represents a year in prison...
Guest Ravenbomb Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 what season is this? Third, fourth?
Guest the 1inch punch Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 can i just mention that Schillenger was born to play J Jonah Jameson in Spiderman
