Guest Dmann2000 Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 Okay this film is 4 1/2 hours long. And its total content is just about the 3 day battle of Gettysburg. Nothing more nothing less. And if fact the same people behind this film have another one coming out soon "Gods and Generals" (Although Robert Duvall is taking over Robert E Lee from Martin Sheen, and Tom Berringer's not in it). Personally being a history and war buff I love this film. And it has a very cool DVD. Feel free to add any opinions.
Guest Mole Posted January 4, 2003 Report Posted January 4, 2003 I've never seen it, but for a trailer for Gangs of New York, there is gonna be another Civil War movie. Jeff Daniels is in it, just like Gettysburg. I didn't catch the name of the movie because I went to buy some food.
