Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 4, 2003 Angle didn't benefit from that at all. Even though it was an OBVIOUS attempt to demote Angle to the midcard, he was clearly still higher than kane, and beating him at Mania accomplished nothing

Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted January 4, 2003 That's really not something positive on Kane's part. I agree with AS on this. It's been nearly a year and I still have no idea what the Angle/Kane "feud" was supposed to accomplish and why it was there in the first place other than the fact that they had nothing for either man to do. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 4, 2003 And what's scarier is that they did Angle/Kane and Taker/Flair. Imagine if they reversed them? Taker/Kane matches are usually fun enough, and Angle/Flair could have been VERY good.
Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted January 4, 2003 Unless it's a quick one-month feud i wouldn't worry about RVD-Kane for a while at least, Rob still has to feud with (and lose to) Batista first. Batista defeats RVD at Wrestlemania, i'm nearly certain of it.
Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted January 4, 2003 Why the hell would you job out RVD to Batista? Has Batista shown ANY remote signs of getting over? It would be sheer folly, kill RVD's heat, and Batista still wouldn't be over. I have no clue who HHH will face at WM unless it is Steiner in a rematch. What happened to the retarded rumor of him facing Michaels again? That goes under "worst possible scenario."
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted January 4, 2003 One minute... Anyone else? Smarks: WHY IS RVD FACING THIS JOBBER? HE MIGHT AS WELL BE HOSTING AT THE WORLD! And then... I'd have no beefs with a Christian push, but feuding him now with RVD would make RVD look weak. Sorry, Angle Armbar, I just thought that was funny...
Guest ryankeast Report post Posted January 4, 2003 [besides, when was the last time that ANYONE benefitted from a Kane feud? ANYONE. ] This is pushing it but what about Xpac??? Anyway who has had the most turns out of Big Show and Kane. An RVD / Kane feud wouldn't be that bad if the writing team actually played the feud out well. A Batista feud is too soon, and won't accomplish anything apart from further bury ole Rob. I like the idea of a Christian feud, but can't see it happening. Keep Booker face. How about you do a proper feud with HHH, where you allow RVD to look credible (after a tranistional feud with Kane), do the Jericho / HBK feud, have Booker feud with Kane then after RVD captures the belt at Mania, we can look 4ward to a great feud between him and Jericho stretching out like they did with The Rock and HHH a few years back. This can mean that RVD and Jericho's rivalry is up there with Rocks and HHH's.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted January 4, 2003 Kane is bigger and he will need the big win to make his turn work. That will be their excuse. Notice that BAUTISTA powerbombed RVD, but HHH got the pin.

Guest razazteca Report post Posted January 4, 2003 it RVD vs Kane is going anywhere it must be a Hair vs Mask match............LOSE THE F"N MASK AT WM19

Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted January 4, 2003 I wouldn't mind a Christian push if, y'know, he didn't suck the cock so much. Hell, even though I despise RVD, he doesn't deserve to be wasted putting over the King of Restholds.

Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted January 4, 2003 If Edge did nothing but restholds and an inverted DDT the entire match, then maybe so, but he doesn't so he isn't. Christian should just stick to tag wrestling, fuck a singles push.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 4, 2003 I don't think it's fair to compare Christian matches with Bubba with edge matches with Benoit. Put Edge out there with a Non GOD (Or Angle) and you get less than desireable results.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted January 4, 2003 I wasn't comparing his matches with Bubba to anything. Hell, Edge had a better match with Booker at WM last year than Christian did on RAW later on.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 5, 2003 No, I'm trying to say that Edge has very good matches against some of the top guys on SD!, but put him in there with Albert or Regal, and you get shit. We haven't seen Christian vs. Anyone worth a shit yet.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 5, 2003 But people HAVE had good matches with Regal. The WWF has cleverly moved Edge from one very good worker to another since his single's push.
Guest creativename Report post Posted January 5, 2003 Hell, Edge had a better match with Booker at WM last year than Christian did on RAW later on. That means almost nothing. It was Wrestlemania. A lot more planning and effort is spent trying to book a good Mania match than a random Raw match. Though I do think that Edge is more worthy of a push than Christian. Yet I still seriously doubt that Edge will ever be a credible Main Eventer; he's just too goofy looking.
