Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted January 4, 2003 Well this has started to get advertised on TV. 40 of the Rolling Stones greatest hits. From the songs I saw advertised, it looks like it will be a great pickup. Of course we all know it will be in stores no matter what the TV says, so do yourself a favor and pick it up~! Guest red_file Report post Posted January 4, 2003 I'd never heard "She's a Rainbow" until I got Forty Licks. Now I'm more than a little glad I picked it up.

Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted January 4, 2003 I listend to most of it at a friend's house last night. If you want to turn someone on to the Stones, that's the album you get them. However, I have most those songs on other discs, so it's a little redundant for me to pick it up. What do you guys think of their new single on there "Don't Stop?" I personally really dig it and think it harkens back to their last top creative period with Some Girls.

Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted January 5, 2003 i would have picked it up if i didn't own every stones album from 1965 to 1982. if you dig the stones, do yourself a favor and pick up the following albums immediately... beggar's banquet (a top 5 album of all time) let it bleed sticky fingers some girls that is the cream of the crop for stones fans. some people have exile on main street on their lists but i think there is too much filler before you get to the good stuff.
