Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I'm fairly intrigued to see what the Falcons could do against a *real* defense that's been resting for two weeks over here in Philly. Kotz, don't be too mad, if the Pack lose here it'll save you the pain of getting your hopes up, and then getting them crushed in Philly in the NFC Champ. game. Tampa Bay does exist, you know.
Guest packwingfn Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 ABC must be pisssed 2 shitty games No Raiders/Patriots this year
Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Raiders/Pats was on CBS. But yes, I do imagine ABC is disappointed.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 That first down might have done it. I think it may be over now.
Guest packwingfn Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I dont care how tough the philly defense is....I just think ATL can give Philly a game and pull it off.... Just like 98, I remember, NOONE gave ATL a shot against Minnesota and they were 14-2 that year...yet they pulled it off With Vick, anything is possibile
Guest packwingfn Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Well I knew it was on CBS, but im sure ABC was hoping for another good Saturday Night again like last year
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Now we need a very quick score. Something in the neighborhood of a four to six play drive, or faster. Yes, faster. (still confident in the Pack's ability to come back)
Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Pack needs a quick TD here, don't give up yet Spoon.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 JESUS!!!! I almost died just now.
Guest Kinetic Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Well, this works in a couple of ways. ATL goes to Philly next week and should give them a good game, which is fine by me. Go Falcons! Judging by tonight's performance, I'd take them over New York or San Fran to win at Philadelphia. That also means that New York/San Francisco goes to Tampa Bay next week, which either way is a matchup that works in favor of the Bucs.
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Pack needs a quick TD here, don't give up yet Spoon. Give up, Spoon. Give up.

We couldn't have Tampa more intimidated if we had their coach on tape saying they don't have a prayer. They're more off their game each time they walk into the Vet. Oh and can the Falcon defense stop McNabb? I don't think so. They're doing good against Green Bay because GB has fucked themselves over.
Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 There's the Jevon Walker we're used to.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 YES!!!! YES!!!!!! YES!!!!!! WE'RE STILL ALIVE, BAYBEE~!!!!!!
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 YES!!!! YES!!!!!! YES!!!!!! WE'RE STILL ALIVE, BAYBEE~!!!!!! BLAH, BLAH. Damn the Packer fans.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 We'd be in this game if the receivers could CATCH THE FUCKING BALL.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Damn. I go to the movies tonight to the tune of the Jets routing the Colts, and when I get back it's the same story with Atlanta over the Pack. Un-sane. I wouldn't put 20 points in 8 minutes past the Packers, but this 4th down is THE play right now. Edit: And that has got to be the game right there.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Okay, fuck THAT officiating crew.
Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 That should do it. I don't blame Favre for being pissed, his receivers suck and they're all injured. Who the hell is Bailey?
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Yes, while an Atlanta player so conveniently is giving the Green Bay player a hug, if only the big lug would just come on over there'd be no need for JERSEY PULLING AND HOLDING!!!! EDIT: I mean, shit man, this has been just plain blatant at times. At least the Packers previous ref incidents were somewhat questionable.
Guest packwingfn Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I cant believe I left work an hour early for this haha I was hoping for a game and I am a fan of both teams, my only teams
Guest Kinetic Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Give it up. Too many injuries, too little production. That's two straight losses for the #3 seed in the NFC. Could the #1 seed continue that trend? Yes. I call it now. Atlanta over Philadelphia next week.
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Yes, while an Atlanta player so conveniently is giving the Green Bay player a hug Maybe he wanted to show him some love?
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 You know, Madden is even more annoying when the team you're rooting for is losing. I hope Philadelphia DESTROYS Atlanta.
Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I can understand your beef Kotz, but officiating alone isn't what cost you this game.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Give it up. Too many injuries, too little production. That's two straight losses for the #3 seed in the NFC. Could the #1 seed continue that trend? Yes. I call it now. Atlanta over Philadelphia next week. ... Because you KNOW your Bucs don't have a hope in hell against the Philly Wrecking crew. Really though, it's a like a Philly fan in 96 telling everyone he predicts Dallas is going down, you're just so bias against one team it's not funny.
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Atlanta over Philadelphia next week. I'll call that one, too. Anyone else?
Guest Kinetic Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 You know, Madden is even more annoying when the team you're rooting for is losing. Oh, my GOD! That Pittsburgh-Tampa game was sheer torture. I'm over here wishing for death and he's giggling like an old coot and talking about turkeys with six legs and the most absolutely ridiculous bullshit imaginable. I wanted to crack his skull.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Even the commercials piss me off when my team is losing. Fuck you, Dennis Franz.
