Guest the pinjockey Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I like how it was the Bucs fan to be the first to jump at the chance to get rid of Philly before they can meet. A little gunshy there?
Guest tpww7 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I'll also pick Atlanta over Philadelphia.
Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I do think Tampa has a chance against Philly, especially if McNabb isn't 100%. McNabb made the few big plays that gave them the win over Tampa in their game earlier this year. But as a Tampa fan, I would bet Kinetic would rather see Atlanta, as Tampa has completely shut them down this year. Green Bay fumble. Ouch. Death.
Guest packwingfn Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Just end the game now please We already know Atlanta won
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Wow, a Packers fan (tpww) jumps on the anti-Philly bandwagon. Misery loves company, eh?
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I can understand your beef Kotz, but officiating alone isn't what cost you this game. No, an assload of injuries and lacklustre play since the second half of the San Francisco game did it too. The officiating just made a bad situation worse. And the game is uber-officially over.
Guest Kinetic Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 ... Because you KNOW your Bucs don't have a hope in hell against the Philly Wrecking crew. Really though, it's a like a Philly fan in 96 telling everyone he predicts Dallas is going down, you're just so bias against one team it's not funny. I know no such thing. Just because they haven't beaten them yet doesn't mean they can't or won't. Especially if McNabb's not back at that point or he's rusty. I'm not going to say that Tampa absolutely would beat Philly, but I definitely think they have a fighting chance. But, yeah...I'm a little biased.
Guest the pinjockey Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Here is why Philly beats Atlanta Shawn Barber (one of the leagues most underrated players) is better and faster than the Packers LBs The Packers played with zero emotion the Eagles won't have that problem Philly has a secondary so these passes Vick is making won't happen
Guest packwingfn Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 2 things that killed Green Bay this year 1.Injuries 2.Bad Division winning the division so early this year killed them, They had no competition....
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Well, if this wasn't the perfect way to cap an absolutely WONDERFUL day. We need a crying emoticon. Maybe I'll just find the hidden bottle of rum in the house and get trashed.

(I have a few beers in me, bear with me.) But i'm glad he admits his bias. That's why we love him.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 tpww: I'm a bit new to the Sports folder. It seemed you were rotting for the Pack with Kotz though.
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 "I have a weird feeling Atlanta will upset the Packers." -- tpww7 "Same here, tpww7. Same here." -- Me WHO BE BAD NOW?!
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 That was an interesting tackle. EDIT: Notice how I'm desperately trying to find a way to enjoy this?
Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Well, this is over. On to tomorrow's games, and your soon-to-be AFC Super Bowl representative Pittsburgh Steelers easily defeat the Browns.
Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I also predicted Atlanta would win. I gets no love.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Browns over Steelers, Giants over 49ers.
Guest tpww7 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Falcons are really digging it in now.
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Kotz: Spinning tackle.. INT~! INT~! INT~! AA: I didn't see your post about ATL over GB. Steelers over Browns, Giants over Niners.
Guest tpww7 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I'm going with Browns and Giants as well tommorow.
Guest packwingfn Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Browns/Steelers....Too tough to tell Giants easily ova 49ers 49ers are just like the packers, Not as good as their record is
Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Giants blowout the Niners. Steelers win by 2 TD's. Big game for Plaxico and Hines Ward.
Guest Angle Armbar Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Favre gets sacked, drilled, and fumbled. Get him out of the game.
Guest tpww7 Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 5 Turnovers, good reason why they lost.
Guest the pinjockey Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Brett Favre just yawned. That has got to be one of the saddest things I ever saw.
