Either way, I took my work shirt, put it on a crude wooden stick figure, and burned it in their parking lot.

And get this - they knew they were going to fire me after my first day, yet they kept me around for another week. Today, when the store manager wanted to talk to me, my department manager said "what are you going to do if you get fired?," despite knowing for a full WEEK that it was going to happen.

 

These people were the aces of deception and backstabbery, as they'd encourage you to do something, then get mad at you later for the very same thing, but not tell you that they were mad until their frustrations from the entire day had bottled up. Hell, I was accused of lying that I'd had a job before on my application. The dude was bigger than me, but it was in the Seafood room, and there was a knife RIGHT NEXT TO ME...
