I don't remember who had it (I'm betting Sandman... seems like something he'd have), but the old Blood Mark banner with the implements of destruction on it was awesome. That was probably my favorite of all time.

You know, for all the feathers that were ruffled over the RVD crucifixion banner, I've never once got any shit from anyone over my avatar.

 

I mean, it's friggin' Jesus' head on a PLATE. Yet RVD on a cartoony cross gets people bent out of shape..heh.

 

As far as best banners and sigs and shit, I'm always dishing out a double dose of Cryptopsy with the sig AND avatar. Not to mention the Slayer-carved arm.
