Is the SF animated movie supposed to have Chun Li naked?

Huh? I saw it and that wasn't in there. How lewd. Was this the one where she fights Vega in her apartment and kills him?

 

BEST:

 

Mario - This was hilarious and every two minutes there was something that made you say, "What the fuck?" They took so many liberties, I swore these guys work in the Department of Homeland Security (rimshot!).

 

 

WORST:

 

MK - I'm sorry, but when I left this movie, I just felt ripped off. MY hopes were probably too high, anyway.

Huh? Are you sure you didn't get those mixed up?

 

You liked Mario Brothers, but hated MK?

Worst - well, I wasn't that into the game, but for my money (which I didn't spend on it thank God..), Dungeons and Dragons had the worst acting, dialogue and special effects of any movie in some way related to a video game that I've ever seen. Hell, I can even forgive the Mario movie and say its 10 times as better as the D&D movie because its just THAT bad. Somewhat distantly behind that is Double Dragon (which I noted was on Sci Fi Channel today but I just flipped by it)..

 

Best - Resident Evil and Mortal Kombat, although Im starting to hate MK each time I watch it again for some reason..(maybe its because I've seen MK:A once, which was one too many times and the hate from that is wearing off on the first one...)

 

And all the Street Fighter movie hate, it wasn't as bad as you make it out to be, although Im probably not the die hard street fighter fan. I remember going to see it..such a long time ago..

 

I almost totally forgot about the bomb that was Wing Commander (I never saw it or played the game, but I've heard it was terrible..)

 

I guess you could count the Pokemon movies as well? The first one wasn't bad, even though I HATE Pokemon, but there are now like 5 more and thankfully I think the whole Pokemon craze is over..

The first MK and Resident Evil were great.

 

The Spirits Within I liked, but it was nothing special. Just toss in one chocobo and it's my favorite movie ever though. I want my chocobo!

 

Street Fighter killed Raul Julia. Mario Brothers was just terrible (trust the fungus). Wing Commander I'm sad to say I saw in theaters (same with Mario) and I wish I could have gotten my money back. Funny story: I went to Wing Commander because I'm stupid and my friend wanted to see it, but apparently there was a rumor here that the Star Wars Episode one trailer was being played at Wing Commander, so a bunch of people I know went and saw it only for the trailer, which wasn't shown.

i think there are various cuts of the movie, like 3 or 4 i'm not sure, and in some of them Chun-Li's nude scene was cut aswell as some other stuff

IIRC, there are three cuts of the movie. The original version, which has everything that's supposed to be in it; the American version, which doesn't have either the Vega or the shower scene; and the unrated American version, which has the Vega scene but not the shower scene (or it might be the other way around). I'm not sure if the unrated version is still available. And I'm sure the scenes in question could be easily downloaded, if one were so inclined.

Funny MK story: After Deadly Alliance came out and my friend Sam had bought it, he just HAD to see the movies again. "I remember I liked the first one, but I don't really remember the second one."

 

"I heard it sucked."

 

"Well, maybe. You wanna go rent them?"

 

So we went to Movie Gallery and while he looked in the DVD section, I head over to the Action videos and find both movies.

 

"I found them."

 

"I wanna see them on DVD, though! I'm surprised they don't have them..."

 

"I'm not..."

 

So we drive across town to Blockbuster and find only MK:A on DVD and get it.

 

"I can't wait to see this!" Sam says.

 

We get back to his house and two of our other friends are there waiting to see what we rented. Five minutes into the movie, Sam sums up our feelings pretty well.

 

"This is the gayest, most retarded movie I've ever fucking seen."

 

While there is no moral to this story, other than don't rent or buy or watch Annihilation, I just like the fact that we drove all over town looking for AND renting that shitty movie.

Street Fighter. That movie was just horrible and hardly made sence.

 

The best was Mortal Kombat IMO.
