Guest Downhome Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I just want to take this time to speak my love for what Atlanta is doing to Green Bay right now. Many said it couldn't be done, many more said that it wouldn't happen, but as I type this the Falcons are leading the Packers 27-7 with less than ten minutes left to go in the game. The birds went into the freezer, the Packers HOME, and they took them on and kicked their asses shutting down Green Bay in almost every, single, way. If you were pulling for the Packs, I'm sorry, I really am. I know how it must feel to be getting beaten right now, but tough luck. The Falcons are flying high tonight baby, wooooooooooooooooo! Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest Downhome Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Go Falcons! I bet all the anger, dissapointment, etc... in that stadium would power a city for years.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Did we really need a thread for this? Can't you have respect for the dead?
Guest Downhome Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Did we really need a thread for this? Can't you have respect for the dead? No respect here, it's about f*cking time this happend, and I'm loving it. This reminds me when Carolina went into Green Bay and took them out, heh.
Guest Downhome Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 The game is over, and I'm smilling my ass off. Discuss this great event please.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Oh, dude. Tell me you aren't a fucking Panthers fan. It's people like you who see to it that we get shitty Carolina games every week instead of GOOD games!!!
Guest Downhome Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Oh, dude. Tell me you aren't a fucking Panthers fan. It's people like you who see to it that we get shitty Carolina games every week instead of GOOD games!!! My two teams, are Panthers and Falcons. They are both my home town baby, and I'll stick with them forever. Just remember, one of those teams just hurt GB oh so bad, heh.
Guest The Voices In Your Head Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Well, being a Packer fan, I knew it would happen someday. They simply didn't have an answer for Vick, they turned the ball over, and got too far behind early. We'll be back next season, and we'll be in the playoffs. Now that I think about it, since this was one of the weirdest seasons ever, this was the year for the home playoff streak to end.
Guest bob_barron Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 ::lays out DH with the power of the punch::
Guest Downhome Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 ::lays out DH with the power of the punch:: *no sells and laughs in your face*
Guest the pinjockey Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 When was the last time the Packers heard it like that from the crowd? (as a serious question not a dig at them)
Guest Phr33k Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 My two are the Niners and Browns, who get their action tomorrow.
Guest snuffbox Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Im from the Cheesestate, Im a Packer mark and tonight was definitly a dark one. But we all know it had to happen sooner or later, especially when the tem is Brett Favre with the third string. Vick is a phenom, hopefully not to fizzle like a Doug Williams. Green Bays looked impressively strong despite losing so many players throughout the year. Its really amazing they even made the playoffs, all things considered.
Guest the pinjockey Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 When a team's division consists of Chicago, Minnesota, and Detroit to say the fact they made the playoffs was amazing is a bit of a stretch.
Guest snuffbox Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Defeating Miami, New England, San Fancisco, Atlanta, and Buffalo who are all solidand some playoff- teams is a bit of an acheivement. Granted, the division was easy this year, but Minnesota problem isnt talent, its motivation, and they always seem to have that against Green Bay.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 I had the Pack winning this in a lock. But, let me be the one to say... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! GLORIOUS~!
Guest Sassquatch Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 Vick's luck is going to run out and when the Falcons do get destroyed while the RAIDERS~! are going to advance to the AFC championship game I'm going to sit back and smile. Green Bay should have never lost and next week when the Falcons lose everyone will know their victory over the Pack was a fluke. Choke on THAT bichets!
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 It's a known fact that Vick will not go all the way, but it's glorious to know that VICK~! put Favre out of the playoffs. Glorious, indeed.
Guest Sassquatch Posted January 5, 2003 Report Posted January 5, 2003 It'll be so fun to laugh and point at all the sorry Falcons fans after Vick gets murderlized in the playoffs. Glorious retribution.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted January 6, 2003 Report Posted January 6, 2003 The Packers weren't into the game at all last night. Even the fans didn't seem has exited has one would think.
