Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted January 5, 2003 In the RCA Reservoir Dogs soundtrack, the third track is the K-BILLY DJ droning about the last four songs played. Do any of the old-timers here remember: Turn the Beat Around - Vicki Sue Robinson Heaven on the 7th Floor Fly Robin Fly - The Silver Connection La Freak - Sheik Hooked on a Feeling - Blue Swede Or For that matter: Billy Don't Be a Hero - War The World is a Ghetto - Bo Donelson and the Heywoods
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted January 5, 2003 turn the beat around- just another disco song le freak- just another disco song BUT chic rules so rock on wit yo bad self fly robin fly- a horrible disco song that was actually the #1 song when i was born. that or andy kim's 'rock e gently'. i always forget which one was on top. hooked on a feeling- a mediocre remake of a mediocre bj thomas song. "boomshalaka boomshalaka..." for the last two, you have the bands confused... war sang 'the world is a ghetto' and bo danaldson and the heywoods sang 'billy don't be a hero'. i dig war so no complaints. 'billy don't be a hero' is actually a pretty compelling anti-war song but after hearing it in my brother-in-laws old toyota 100 times, i really can't stand it anymore.
