Does anyone else have to "log in" every 24 hours?

I'm using IE 5.1 for Mac (please, no Mac bashing) and I have this problem.  My cookies are enabled, they work for other web sites.  In fact, there is a thesmarks cookie in there.  I tried deleting the cookie and logging in again.  Still has the same problem.

 

Does anyone know why this happens?

I had to log in every time that I closed windows explorer. Even with cookies enabled.

 

The problem was fixed when I went from Windows 98' to XP.
