10 Anniversary Special Is Only 60 Minutes Long?

I just read on 1wrestling.com that the special is only going to be 60 minutes long. They can barely show any moments in that amount of time and it is going to be extremely rushed. This sucks. I thought it was going to be 2 hours.

Remember that it's no wrestling likely, maybe just the end of a match or so. Still, there's enough memorable moments in the history of Raw till fill nearly as many hours as you could get TNN to greenlight.

On one hand, they should have enough footage for a special 3 hour show, on the other hand, most of the "moments" will be stuff along the line of Austin driving a beer truck and spraying the ring with beer, so now I have to even question whether I want to tape it or not.

Oh man, I loved his stuff on Nitro in late 1998 - early1999 where he was a psychopath. It was worth picking up that WCW Ric Flair video for those antics alone.

I guess I'm not going to see the Raw Anniversary I imagined.

 

I was hoping it would be on a Monday Night for 3 hours. They could show all the classic moments, show the old stars, and have matches from wrestlers who were involved in big feuds. Undertaker could return to fight Kane, Dudleys could fight Hardys, maybe a 20 Man Battle Royal, etc etc etc.
