Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted January 5, 2003 When both Bret Hart and WWE were in Florida recently, the two sides met in the middle. Apparently, Vince McMahon and Bret Hart had a closed door meeting not so long ago. The meeting was most likely held to discuss the picture and video library that Bret Hart has been wanting for a while now. With the RAW 10th Anniversay around the corner, one would assume a one-time return was talked about as well. Stay tuned for more details as they become available to us. liveaudiowrestling.com

Guest Choken One Report post Posted January 5, 2003 MMM...Ah, More over reading bullshit...Maybe in the End, we hve to thank Goldberg for Knocking Bret's mind out because Now I think he forgot about Vince's actions.
Guest Brian Report post Posted January 5, 2003 Bret and Vince have since made up. Hopefully both are going to be mature about this.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2003 I would LOVE to see Bret Hart back. Hmm....someone a while back suggested that Hogan be a GM to battle a GM team of Steph and Bisch... Why not have the Hitman insted?
Guest Eagan469 Report post Posted January 6, 2003 I still say the "screwjob" was a work. It made Vince a mega-heel, and made Bret a mega-face going into WCW.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2003 I still say the "screwjob" was a work. It made Vince a mega-heel, and made Bret a mega-face going into WCW. Think of this though... Why would Vince, having someone that was a major star of his, want to make said star look GOOD going into WCW, his competition at the time?
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted January 6, 2003 If it was a work, it's the most complex one in the history of the business outside of Austin's walkout and possibly the death of Brian Pillman.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted January 6, 2003 Well Meltzer just said on WOL that he won't be there.
Guest godthedog Report post Posted January 6, 2003 why would they waste a bret hart appearance on a 60-minute clip show? and making him a GM wouldn't be a very good idea. since the concussion, he's had trouble keeping his train of thought, and his mic work has been less than stellar. besides, the writers would just fuck it all up and piss on his character anyway. i don't want to see bret in any shitty angles. maybe he could be in chris benoit's corner for one ppv match or something, but that's it. as i said before, i really just want to see him make a one-time appearance, thanking the fans and saying goodbye. and that's it. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted January 6, 2003 I think it's pretty obvious if they were do an appearance, they should do it at No Way Out. I mean, cmon...
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted January 6, 2003 MMM...Ah, More over reading bullshit...Maybe in the End, we hve to thank Goldberg for Knocking Bret's mind out because Now I think he forgot about Vince's actions. Maybe he accepted that is was partially his fault. Or maybe he finally got over it.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2003 It's been half a decade since that incident happened. If they haven't gotten over it by now, they will NEVER have gotten over it. So, that's why I feel that they have gotten it over by now.
Guest Brian Report post Posted January 6, 2003 Owen was much more of a problem than Montreal.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted January 6, 2003 Owen was much more of a problem than Montreal. Oh yeah...true. I DID forget about that... Bret, at least for a while, DID blame Vince for Owen's death. I don't know if he still does, but that could hurt negotiations.
Guest Brian Report post Posted January 6, 2003 Vince apologized when he made the call to Bret, supposedly. It took Bret nearly dying for Vince to admit he had been wrong. I think originally, Bret would have had less of a problem with McMahon if Vince hadn't continued to mock the finish and bury Owen, and the death was just the culminaton of those things. Because I think, after all those years together they still want to be remembered and like each other.
Guest graph9 Report post Posted January 7, 2003 I hope in the end that those two can get over what happened..it's obvious that it was..probably still is on Vince's mind alot..because he renacts Montreal every chance he gets...If Bret does come back it's gonna be cool because he was great at his character..also i hope that Bret learns from his mistake about trusting Vince totally....a leopard never changes his spots.. Guest Banky Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Does that sig turn you on? Not me, my penis has crawled up into my body. Somehow I'll have to apologize to it, and coax it into coming out again and promise it I won't subject it to such garbage again.
