Is This a Virus?

I got this e-mail today:

 

My address book has been infected with a virus, and as a result, so

has

I have a hard time believing that the program is a virus, I searched and did find it, but it was last modified 5/18/2002. Does anyone else know 100% whether or not this is a virus?

Yeah, I saw it on the news just a second ago saying that that was one of the top 10 virus hoaxes.

one of my clients got it about 3 months ago, it's definitly a hoax.
