Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Which WWE newcomer will have the most successful 2003? Victoria 3.91 % B2 1.33 % Batista 57.17 % Shelton Benjamin 1.92 % Charlie Haas 2.81 % John Cena 5.36 % Shannon Moore 14.65 % Nunzio 3.22 % Jamie Noble 1.22 % Johnny Stamboli 8.36 % Okay...all joking aside, who do you guys think REALLY will? I picked Benjamin.
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Jamie Noble or John Cena. I'm sure Cena has an actual chance, though.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Moore is ranked higher than a hoss and several more experienced guys. For a guy that bumps as much as he does, I'd say he'll be the most successful for the next 2 weeks until he breaks his back. Voted Haas. Victoria makes sense but that's only because the women's division is so weak.
Guest Insane Bump Machine Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Why is B2 on this list? He's been with the company (and on WWE TV) for a few years already.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 7, 2003 I guess they don't want us to remember B2's other gimmicks. Although I dug Bull's Booker-esque kicks, and he wasn't so slow for a hoss. Does he do that stuff anymore, nope, not that I've seen. Geez...shame, there's another possibly good hoss turned into a plodding crapmeister.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted January 7, 2003 If the bookers/writers ever get their heads out of their asses, it will be Jamie Knoble. I'm (pleasantly) surprised at Shannon Moore's poll results, too
Guest Celtic Jobber Report post Posted January 7, 2003 If the bookers/writers ever get their heads out of their asses, it will be Jamie Knoble. Yeah, I know but they'd rather job him out to Hugh F'N Morrus! Fuck WWE! Jamie Noble should be a main eventer. Jamie Noble = God
Guest Downhome Report post Posted January 7, 2003 I have two answers. It will be Batista, but I want it to be Charlie Haas.
Guest Mole Report post Posted January 7, 2003 I like Batista, so I hope he is succesfull.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted January 7, 2003 I like Batista, so I hope he is succesfull. I actually like him too, but shhhhhhhhhh, don't tell anyone.
Guest evilhomer Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Well, based on the question, the only possible answer is Batista. This is Hossland remember, Batista will get the biggest push, and if it doesn't work, he'll get a new bigger push. The smark choices are of course Benjamin/Haas/Knoble/Nunzio and we can argue about which one of them is the best and could go the furthest, but in WEEland, Batista is the only choice. Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 7, 2003 From where I sit, Blatista is shittier than Test in absolute terms. At least Blatista has an excuse to be shitty, being so green.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Funny thing is that Batista used to get a fair amount of compliments here. Sure, using a spinebuster as a finisher in the WWE is stupid as hell since the move has been done to death, but still... Then he got pushed, and all the compliments disappeared. He became "a hoss," and wasn't helped when Ross accidentally let that word slip on the air.

For all who complimented him, for shame.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted January 7, 2003 It's because Batista had and still has a more intimidating look than Brock Lesnar. But since his debut on Smackdown, Batista hasn't shown anything aside from a spinebuster or a sitout powerbomb, and Brock has done nothing but improve. The effects of having 'the intimidating look' have worn off now that Batista has been around for awhile. Oh, and JR 'accidentally let' that word slip? Whose to say that he wasn't waiting before the show to tell the world that Batista's a hoss?
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted January 7, 2003 Whoopie. He had "the look," so push him ahead of Booker, Jericho, RVD--oh wait, they are. I am by far the biggest Brock fan in the world, but Brock's far, far better right now, and likely will continue to be. Since he has "the look" we'll see the booking and announce team continually suck his cock and work his way up the ranks like Goldberg. Joy.
