Guest Tim Cooke Report post Posted January 7, 2003 So I guess shilling MarkOutVideo is more important than getting more readers. And if Styles/Ki is ****1/2, then I may as well have a match in the ring and it will get ***. Tim

Guest Daddy X Report post Posted January 8, 2003 I think this event came out 10 times as good live than it did on tape. I was actually dissapointed with some parts when i saw the tape because it was that fun to see live. The crowd was pumped for the last two matches and we definatly got our money's worth. I don't really pay attention to snowflake ratings too much, because thats the last thing I think about when I'm live at a show. Definatly the best wrestler show I've been to live. And o ya... good review man.

Hmm... that seems to be the sentiment among those that attended. I remember the first reports coming out of that show and everyone was going on about it being the show of the year and the crowd was nuked throughout, moreso for the two final matches but it didn't come across that way (for the mostpart of the show) on the commercial release. I think it basically comes down to ROH not miking their crowds and the audio level that the commentary has over the actual ring work.
